    Business Development Officer

    Location: Lekki, Lagos

    Job Description

    • Sigma Consulting Group is looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals.
    • Candidates should be team players who not only understand how to identify a new market opportunity, but also know how to retain clients.
    • We’re especially looking for someone with great communication skills, as you’ll be expected to interact with executives and clients on a daily basis. Preference will be given to candidates who plan to stay and grow with our company for the foreseeable future.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
    • Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients.
    • Brainstorming with the business development team to create new project strategies
    • Identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients
    • Managing company and client expectations
    • Creating sales pitches
    • Executing sales objectives
    • Managing client accounts
    • Finding and following new sales leads
    • Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
    • Attending networking events
    • Negotiating sales contracts
    • Preparing sales contracts; following company rules and guidelines
    • Building trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers
    • Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data
    • Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
    • Researching the market and industry trends
    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

    Requirements

    • 1-2 years proven working experience as a Business Development Officer, sales executive or a relevant role
    • Proven sales track record
    • Experience in customer support is a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Proficiency in English
    • Good knowledge of brand awareness and the use of social media
    • Market knowledge
    • Communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport
    • Time management and planning skills
    • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field

    Salary
    Salary Offer N50,000 - N100,000/Month
