Job Summary

• The Counsellor attends to the socio-emotional life of every student.
• Among other things, he/she encourages/challenges students regularly during school assembly sessions, guides/counsels students in one-on-one sessions whenever the need arises and provides material for weekly sessions of Personal and Social Education.
• He/she also organizes career programmes for Basic 9 (JS 3) students and is in charge of university admissions.
• Above all, the Counsellor is a role model for every student.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• B.Sc (Educational Counselling) or its equivalent is required.
• Any higher degree or qualification, especially in the field of Educational Counselling, is an advantage.

Experience:

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role. Any experience relating to Educational Counselling is an advantage.

Personal Qualities:

• Effective communication and presentation skills, good command of English Language, good understanding of adolescent psychology, good interpersonal skills, a team player, ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, proficiency in use of Office Suites like Microsoft Word and Power Point.

Job Descriptions

• The male and female Dormitory Parent will be responsible for male/female students and every thing they do before and after school hours in accordance with the regulations of Jesuit Memorial College.
• They will supervise study hall sessions, some of which holds during school hours, ensuring that all students study effectively and efficiently.
• Over and above all, every staff of Jesuit Memorial College is a role model for the students.

Qualification and Experience

• A university degree in any field is required.

Job Summary

• The Teacher of Basic Technology and Technical Drawing will plan, prepare and deliver instruction to students in accordance with the Nigerian National Policy on Education and regulations of Jesuit Memorial College.
• The teacher will cover effectively and efficiently every item in the schemes of work in use in the school while also teaching the students all they need in everyday life in relation to the two subjects.
• Over and above all, every teacher in Jesuit Memorial College is a role model to the students.

Qualifications

• B. Ed (Technical Drawing) or its equivalent is required. Any higher degree or qualification, especially in the field of Basic Technology and Technical Drawing, is an advantage.
• Experience: At least 2 years teaching experience in a similar role. Any other experience relating to Basic Technology and Technical Drawing is an advantage.
