Duties and reponsibilities 

• Analysis and development of technically complex hydrologic and hydraulic computer models for site-specific floodplain assessments.
•  Permit application evaluations  Review of in-house flood control projects.
•  Evaluation of proposed dam and levee projects or proposed modifications to existing structures. 
•  Plan and specification review and preparation.
•  Creation of technically based mapping of floodplain and floodway delineations;
•  Reparation of reports, letters and memos
•  Participation in meetings with consultants, other governmental agencies, and the public. 
• Service as an expert witness in legal proceeding.
• To prepare rough cost estimates that would include the cost of the equipment, material as well as the labor cost that is required to complete the project within the given deadline.
• Designs and directs construction of power and other hydraulic engineering projects for control and use of water: Computes and estimates rates of waterflow.

Interested candidates must have minimum 5 years experience in Design/Supervision of projects.

Details:

The HACCP Coordinator plays a central role in the food processing industry and in doing so they are responsible for a variety of tasks.

Some key responsibilities include;

• Identifying, evaluating, controlling and preventing hazards at all stages of the food production process.  Reviewing transport condition of food carriers for appropriate temperature, segregation of materials, and stock rotation.
•  Working cooperatively with maintenance and/or engineering departments
•  Performing inspections
• Reviewing personnel, visitor and contractor requirements for good manufacturing practices, general safety rules, and training requirements for staff
• Developing recall requirements
• Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
• Promote health and safety in the workplace
• Display good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization.
• Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and Inspection Regulations
•  Ensure quality control and efficient work flow
• Display positive leadership

Education and Experience:

• BSC/HND in Biochemistry or othe related courses
• 3 yeas experience in food manufacturing environment
