  • APS was born out of a realization that Sub Saharan African's will need to continue being Prosumers of electricity (Producing Consumers) for the long term due to weak, non existent, or inefficient grids common place across the continent. APS takes an analytics, technology, and long term service driven approach to ensuring these Prosumers don't walk alone. We optimize your electricity profile over time to give you the 'Power To Be'.

    APS uses solar energy, battery storage, smart inverters, monitoring solutions, and analytics driven platrforms to deliver clean energy solutions to Prosumers across Sub Saharan Africa starting in Nigeria.

    Finance and Accounts Associate




    • Preparing financial documents such as invoices (both supplier and customer), bills, payments and receipts on the accounting software
    • Assist in tracking Project Cost Data
    • Completing Bank reconciliations
    • File VAT returns at the FIRS office on or before 21st of every month
    • Assist in  month end procedures
    • Assist in financial analysis and modelling
    • Participate in Audits and Budgeting
    • Recording company expenditure
    • Tracking receivables and sending out reminders
    • Accounting for the partner project fund (BOP)
    • Execute other tasks assigned by the Accountant


    • Data Entry
    • Team Player
    • Excellent Skills with Microsoft Office, most importantly Excel
    • Detailed and Organized
    • Analytical and Critical thinking Skills
    • Written and Oral Communication Skills


    • Positive Attitude
    • Member: Institute of Chartered Accountant or a student member of ACCA
    • A graduate with a degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 0 to 2 years work experience (Qualified corpers serving in Lagos will be considered)
    • Candidates should not exceed 25 years of age
    • Preferably female for  gender diversity
    • Knowledge of Book Keeping Procedure
    • Committed to continuous Education and Personal growth
    • Clear understanding of a dynamics within a start up
