    Procurement Support

     

     Details: To succeed in this role you should be self-motivated, and achievement-oriented, disciplined with good multi-tasking mind, strong ability to think conceptually and strategically. Your core responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    Specific Objectives and Responsibilities

    Administrative

    • Plans, prioritize and reviews procurement of supplies, equipment, and services. Extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices in procurement and office administration.
    • Assists in maintaining the day-to-day running of a company or organization
    • Organizes office equipment maintenance ensures that the office is clean and that each staff member has necessary supplies
    • Assists in reconciling monthly bills
    • Assists to manage order and monitor usage of office supplies and consumables and maintain sufficient supply levels within the budget guidelines of the organization
    • Inventory Management and admin stock audit
    • Assists the supervisor to oversee the activities of subordinate staff such as the Drivers and cleaners
    • Helps to make adequate travel arrangements and hotel bookings for staff, MDs and expatriates where necessary
    • Helps in purchasing office materials by obtaining requirements, negotiating prices, ensuring quality and prompt delivery
    • Fleet management
    • Carry out any other assigned duties from the Procurement/ Quality control Managers office

    Qualification

    • A good University degree
    • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role
    • Experience in supplier agreement and procurement engagement
    • Cost saving experience

    Account Officer

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in preparing recurrent and capital expenditure for each expenditure type
    • Maintain appropriate records of actual recurrent expenditure and prepare the periodic analysis of actual against planned expenditure for each expenditure type.
    • Liaise with HR for monthly payroll preparation and reconciliation
    • Oversee bookkeeping and reconciliation of accounts
    • Assist in preparing Monthly Income Statement
    • Prepare Cash flow Statement
    • Liaise with the banks, collect statements and reconcile bank accounts
    • Ensure preparation and remittance of taxes such as VAT, PAYE, Pension

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
    • ATS certified
    • Proven 2-3 years experience as an Accounting Officer or relevant role.
    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in accounting.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access and the various accounting softwares- Sage, Peachtree etc
    • Fast learner and passion for business growth
    • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
    • The ability to build effective business relationships
