    Operations & Maintenance Field Technician - Mechanical

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the completion of service requests (preventive or corrective) on all mechanical or other assets assigned to according to scope of work, typical as following but not limited to:
    • Servicing, decommissioning, installation or integration of generators according to standard procedures and practices.
    • Ensuring that preventive or corrective maintenance is performed according to procedures and agreed checklists and all issues are permanently closed.
    • Proper cleaning and janitorial services of the sites and assets.
    • Decommissioning, installation and troubleshooting any fault in mechanical equipment.
    • Any other work assigned to from time to time.
    • Schedules and executes the preventive / routine maintenance jobs on all equipment under his/her assignment.
    • Attends emergency call outs, fixes the problem on equipment and restores the service within SLA, follows up the issues till permanent closure and helps to find the root cause of problems and appropriate solutions.
    • Coordinates between NOC, immediate supervisor, client and other subcontractors, for proper maintenance of his/her sites / mechanical equipment.
    • Be available for emergency service delivery, through SMS / phone calls or other communication means.
    • Proficiently uses test equipment and devices on sites and analyzes test results.
    • Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrence regularly to the O&M Coordinator using i engineering’s reporting formats.
    • Ensures proper care of all company properties such as tools & equipment, vehicle, Mobile DG, accommodation.
    • Reports all theft and litigation issues as per process and supports the O&M Coordinator, Site Security (where applicable).
    • Be responsible for fuel delivery and consumption and supports the O&M Coordinator, Fuel for fuel management (where applicable).
    • Ensures that all works being executed under his/her supervision conform with the Client’s specifications and the approved drawings.
    • Coordinates efforts with all sections of the company (Procurement & Logistics, Projects, HR and Accounts) as per company internal procedures.
    • Ensures that all mechanical tools and equipment are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications.
    • Ensures that all spares or consumables used during maintenance are good quality and standard.
    • Understands all processes, works accordingly and gives feedback for improvement.
    • Keeps record of inventory, problem history for all equipment under his control.
    • Being a team leader, coach and enable other team members, check standard of work executed and be responsible for scope of whole team work.

    QH&S/QMS Role and Responsibilities

    • Ensures the implementation of OH&S/QMS requirements on all assigned cell sites.
    • Fills all related OH&S/QMS documents on sites.
    • Conducts Site Safety Induction by explaining to the subcontractors their responsibilities in terms of OH&S requirements of i engineering and clients.
    • Ensures that adequate PPE is used by both the firm's and subcontractors’ teams.
    • Ensures that safe work procedures are being adhered to.
    • Investigates and fills the incident investigation report and shares it with the OH&S representative.
    • Ensures emergency drills are conducted on sites.
    • Deals directly with the client’s representative on all OH&S matters on sites.
    • Reports on any hazard, incident, and accident to the direct supervisor of all assigned sites.

    Requirements

    Operations and Maintenance Manager, Fuel

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Overall responsible for smooth operation of the O&M Fuel management project, coordination with client and OHS & Quality representatives.
    • Demonstrates the ability to think critically and proactively,anticipates risks and prepares solutions in
    • advance.
    • Inspects the quality of the equipment and undertakes site inspection to determine if they are
    • complying with government regulations, client requirements & industry standards.
    • Analyses resources requirements, acquires, monitors and makes suggestions or improvements
    • accordingly. Resources include but not limited to Human, tools, equipment & transportation.
    • Analyzes and proposes different scenarios or options in fuel management chain (Procurement,
    • delivery, monitoring, consumption, invoicing etc), to decrease OPEX, saving in CAPEX to make fuel
    • management success both financially and technically.
    • Liaises within organization and client to achieve the objectives & efficient fuel management.
    • Has overview of financial resources and funds requirement; Raises funds requirement well before
    • time and finds ways to arrange finances with help from his/her supervisor in case required.
    • Prepares monthly and annual O&M budgets for his/her operation, monitors costs, resources and
    • ensures expenses are within allocated budget within whole fuel management process chain.
    • Responsible for finding new fuel suppliers or transportation companies or any other resources,
    • contract negotiation and contract monitoring for efficient and cost effective fuel management,
    • keeping in view company’s interests.
    • Evaluates field staff and quality of works through personal inspections & other means, proposes trainings enabling and maintaining appropriate qualifications, certifications, and licenses.
    • Implements efficient fuel management system e.g. forecasting, ordering, delivery, consumption,
    • monitoring and controlling.
    • Coordinates with the O&M Supervisor and other concerned staff for analysis, reporting and
    • improvement plans.
    • Coaches and develops the O&M Supervisors, Fuel and teams assigned to him/her, to let them understand relevant objectives and processes and have proper documentations.
    • Analyzes data and makes short and long term supply plans and budget forecast , ways to monitor
    • fuel levels and timely delivery to ensure that fuel is available all time in field in case of emergency
    • situation in the region or area.
    • Thinks proactively for minimizing fuel leakages and thefts at all fuel supply chain levels; creates
    • relevant reports and analysis as per requirement of client and company’s internal targets and acts on
    • these reports according to processes.
    • Creates reports based on forecast, delivery, & consumption as per guideline, identifies the problem
    • areas and suggests improvement.
    • Ensures that relevant documentation and reports required for fuel management and invoicing are
    • ready and reconciled internally and with client in timely manner.
    • Coordinates with the client’s representatives and other sections and proposes changes in procedures, as required, to accomplish tasks in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
    • Liaises with the Accounts section for verifying & invoicing of the approved fuel usage.
    • Reviews all equipment and personal injury accidents that take place at the fuel facilities and develops corrective action, incorporating company policies.

    OH&S/QMS Role and Responsibilities

    • Ensures that all projects activities adhere to all OH&S and QMS standards.

    Operations and Maintenance Coordinator, Spares

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Manages and directs day to day operations of the O&M section, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities and assigning work tasks, scheduling work to most effectively meet the needs of production with minimal disruption.

    Operations & Maintenance Supervisor - Preventive Maintenance

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Maintains a site data base with all required information of inventory at site.
    • Manages overall the preventive and corrective maintenance of network elements in his domain.
    • Plans Preventive & Corrective maintenance according to network elements & contract requirements & contract, implements, monitors, controls and follows up with issues found till closure.

    Operations & Maintenance Supervisor, NOC

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Ensures that escalations are closed within client’s specifications or SLA.
    • Creates network performance reports and analysis e.g daily, weekly, monthly and share with client or internally.

    Operations and Maintenance Coordinator, Preventive Maintenance

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Manages overall the preventive and corrective maintenance of network elements in his domain.
    • Plans preventive and corrective maintenance according to network elements and contract requirement and contract, implements, monitors, controls and follows-up with issues found till closure.
    • Communicates & explains plan to related teams or persons & dispatches teams according to the schedule.
    • Makes sure of execution of tasks according to schedule, update schedule in case of any deviation.
    • Collects preventive data from field, makes sure field technicians perform jobs according to agreed procedure and intimate supervisor for any issue.
    • Ability to analyze Preventative Maintenance data and update program based on this data.
    • Creates reports based on data received from field as per guideline & recommends action plans.
    • Ability to analyze equipment manuals and translate that data into meaningful Preventative Maintenance schedules.
    • Ability to train all preventative maintenance personnel in their job duties.
    • Supervises all works related to his/her assigned project(s) and ensures that they are executed in accordance with client’s requirement and contract.
