    Prevention Specialist

    Under the supervision of the Chief of Party for the Pact Nigeria's Community REACH program, the Prevention Specialist will provide technical and programmatic quality and leadership to the REACH Prevention services in selected states by working with partner CSOs and appropriate Government Agencies to achieve USAID's targets addressing HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. H/she will work in community- based prevention programming, in close collaboration with CSOs (CBOs, NGOs, FBOs) and other stakeholders. H/she will collaborate with appropriate USAID Nigeria implementing partners (IPs). relevant Ministries in Nigeria, local, state and national government bodies, private sector, and
    international and local NGOs to support Pact's scope of supporting a comprehensive response to
    HIV/AIDS prevention needs in the target states.
     
    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in Public Health, Management or related field. Master degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of six years of relevant experience in providing technical assistance to large donor-funded and prevention programs
    • Prior knowledge of and experience with USAID-funded health programs; Demonstrated experience with large grant-making programs and working with local partner organizations
    • Extensive knowledge of HIVIAIDS prevention and Health issues in Nigeria-specific knowledge preferred

    OVC Program Officer

    The OVC Program Officer will assist in managing a large portfolio of sub grants and subcontracts. The officer will perform programmatic and financial reviews of program applications as required and participate in the selection process. The jobholder will provide assistance to sub-grant partners on a range of program management issues including work plan and budget development, M&E and
    PEPFAR indicator reporting, program reporting and sub-recipient monitoring. The jobholder will
    Coordinate technical assistance activities related to the implementation of grantee program activities.
    The jobholder will keep abreast of developments in HIV/AIOS field; document methodologies and
    results; develop best practice papers that can inform the wider Pact community
     
    Minimum Requirements:

    • BA in Public Health, Development, Public Administration or another related fiel
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in capacity development of CSOs and/or government
    • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Proficiency in developing and managing a budget; experience in developing strategic plans, work
      plans, fundraising plans; knowledge of sound financial, human resources, and administrative
      policy and procedure
    • Experience in facilitation and training
