Human Resource Role at Amo Group

LOCATION: Aba, Abia State

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist in all recruitment exercise and ensure proper documentations
• Conducts preliminary interview for junior applicants and recommend same to Human Resource Manager as appropriate
• Monitor staff attendance and responsiveness to organizational culture
• Process staff requests and advice management’s approval
• Coordinates all staff training activities
• Maintains and update HR records and progress reports for junior and senior staff for the purpose of confirmation, upgrading, promotion and discipline.
• Undertakes investigations of references provided by applicants
• Maintains update of staff list.
• Coordinates performance appraisal exercise.
• Liaise with all organizations of interest e.g. ITF, Pension, ministry of labour and productivity, MAN, Tax Authorities, etc.
• Ensure strict adherence to company procedures and rules.
• Assist HRM in the day to day running of the department.
• Advise staff on HR issues as well as counsel employees on job-related issues.
• Ensure proper functioning of utilities e.g. telephone, electricity and regular touch with appropriate authorities
• Keep proper and adequate records of commercial and residential properties
• And any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by HRM.

Requirement:

• Minimum of 3 years human resources management job experience in a company with a minimum of 50 employees.
