    Research Clinicians

    We are looking for Research Clinicians to provide clinical care to study participants, adequate documentation, and supervise the field work according to study protocol. S/he will conduct surveillance for morbidity and mortality among study participants and liaise with the local trial and safety monitors.
     
    We seek someone with:
     
    Essential
    MBBS.
    Practical experience of health research in developing countries.
    Previous experience in conducting clinical trials.
    Experience of staff management.
    Excellent written and spoken English.
    Commitment to working in a multi-disciplinary team.
    Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
    A flexible and well-organized approach to work and an ability to meet deadlines.
    Attentiveness to detail.
    Excellent organisational skills.
    Willingness to be on-call and work outside the normal working hours.
    Desirable
     
    FWACP Part 1 or equivalent.
    Record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
    FWACP Part 2.
    Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access).
    The salary attached to the post is in occupational group E1/E2 dependent on qualifications and experience.
