    Plant Manager (Concrete Batch Plant)

     

    Job Description

    Our Client has quickly become a leading brand within the Agrochemicals sector. The company was established in 2002 and has four branches in Kano, Ibadan, Abuja and Lagos. Their vision is to be leader in the agricultural sector. They now have an opening for Concrete Batch Plant Manager for their Concrete Batch Plant based in Ibadan, Oyo.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage the Company’s concrete factory and staff
    • Provide executive leadership and guidance for all departments: Production,
    • Supervise the Laboratory (Testing of Aggregates, cement, fresh and hardened concrete, concrete blocks).
    • Manage all manufacturing activities, insure effective coordination, synchronize and value chain management of all departments.
    • Follow up of the quality procedures with international consultants
    • Improve cost control, ensure effective operation management, manage major cost drivers, stock availability, macro-update on production planning, labor issues, assessment of work processes, people and technology.
    • Monitor all projects and review and approve all changes affecting the accuracy, validity and appropriate supporting documentation and authorization.
    • Monitor budget preparation and P&L reporting.
    • Plan and execute strategies for marketing, training and Human Resources.
    Key Requirement
    • Degree in Civil or Material Engineering
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Batch Plant Manager
    • Candidate should have experience in Operating and maintaining Hydraulic circuit for Concrete Pumps and General repair of the Pump.
    • Experience in working with MEKA Concrete Batch Plant

    Electro Mechanical Engineer (Concrete Batch Plant)

Their vision is to be leader in the agricultural sector. They now have an opening for Electro Mechanical Engineer for their Concrete Batch Plant based in Ibadan, Oyo.
     
    Job Profile
    • Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or otherwise designated supervisor, performs skilled technical diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance activities on Mobile and Stationary Concrete Pumps.
    • Key Responsibilities
    • Visually and manually inspects electrical equipment/Hydraulic/Pneumatic, machinery, components of the Concrete Pumps.
    • Installs and repairs various types of equipment, including Hydraulic motors, Hydraulic cylinders. S-Valve, Electrical Solenoids, Pneumatic Valves, Pneumatic Cylinders. 
    • Refers to electrical/Hydraulic diagrams, technical manuals, established codes, and procedural references for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and code compliance in task performance. 
    • Is able to read and create electrical/Hydraulic and mechanical drawings, schematics, and maps.
    Key Requirement
    • A good degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering is a must
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar function within a Concrete Batch Plant
    • Candidate should have experience in Operating and maintaining Hydraulic circuit for Concrete Pumps and General repair of the Pump.
    • The ideal candidate must have considerable experience and expertise in electrical and hydraulic diagnosis and repair Electrical System on Pumps.
    • Experience in working with MEKA Concrete Batch Plant

    • This position is responsible for planning development and implementation of all of the organization’s marketing creative, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.
    • Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations.

    • Ensure that all The Client related projects are implemented within time/budgets allocated

    • Responsible for customer, GMV, brand equity, affinity and preference growth to meet business target
    • Grow the strategy for promotional campaigns to acquire new customers and to stimulate usage among existing customers

    • Manage a fast growing team that covers creative development and social marketing

    • Create and manage agreed PR/Communication budget; take responsibility for negotiating prices from suppliers, agencies where agreed and needed
    • Implement scalable communications best practice, marketing structures and processes Marketing Creative
    • Responsible for leading various teams, developing creative guidelines and directing creative work, including print collateral, websites, email campaigns, television and radio advertising, and many related tasks
    • Responsible for managing the The Client’s brand. Develops plans that that support lines of service and brand objectives and devises campaigns that increase the awareness of stature of the the Client’s brand
    • Research, edit & create copy for marketing communications including but not limited to print and online articles, newsletters, videos, infographics, blog posts, Web site content and more
    • Draft landing page copy as well as supporting email and social copy to drive demand for content initiatives
    • Collaborate with other teams to develop compelling, often unexpected, content plans
    • Think strategically and participate in creative concepting in a wide range of media, beyond the "what is" into the realm of "what can be"
    Key Requirements
    • A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Traditional & Digital Marketing
    • Bachelor’s degree in any related field from an accredited institution.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding environment
    • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Be able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business and develop relationships with external stakeholders
    • Strong social media experience
    • Influencing and Negotiation skills
    • Demonstrated success preferably in Ecommerce
