    Customer Solution Authority

    Job Description

    • Customer Solution Authorities are dedicated Design Authorities within a Vodafone Customer account.
    • They will maintain an excellent understanding of the customer’s business and technology needs.
    • Additionally, they will have a detailed understanding of the products and services that exist within the Vodafone Portfolios.

    The Career Opportunity

    • Based in Malaysia, the Customer Solution Authority will be responsible for working with sales and directly with the customer in order to design, cost, and document the solutions to be offered to customer.
    • Additionally, they are accountable for the technical relationship with the customer and the associated contractual aspects.
    • Customer Solution Authority will deal predominantly with opportunities where the customer decision makers are based in the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Building a “trusted advisor” relationship within the aligned account(s), and act as the “end-end” Solution Authority for all deployed Vodafone solutions within the account(s)
    • Capturing and interpreting customer requirements, and designing complex and custom solutions to meet customer requirements. Identifying and documenting any risks to the solution
    • Building accurate scalable cost models and providing input into pricing strategy
    • Documenting solution in RFP responses, proposals and Statement of Works/High Level Designs.
    • Ensuring solutions are deliverable in timeframes committed and have passed all appropriate VGE solution governance. Solutions should be scalable, repeatable, and utilizing existing standard services as much as possible.

    The Candidate Profile

    • Customer Solution Authority will maintain an excellent understanding of the customer’s business and technology need and will have a detailed understanding of the products and services that exist within the Vodafone Portfolios.
    • CSA will be accountable for pro-actively creating new opportunities to deploy VGE solutions within the customer’s environment

    Essential:

    • Ability to present to internal stakeholders and up to C-level customers
    • Interpersonal skills and teamwork with multinational teams.
    • Leading virtual solution teams
    • Analytical and critical thinking
    • Detail orientation, operates with precision
    • Ability to both influence, and show resolve under pressure from both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure solution designs are deliverable

    Desirable:
    Must have core expertise in designing complex solutions in one or more of the following areas::

    • IP Networking (WAN & LAN)
    • Unified Comms including IPT, Contact Centres, IM, Email and Video Conferencing
    • Security solutions
    • Mobility and Mobile Data Services
    • Experience with IT Managed Services desired, preferably with ITIL, eTOM or TOGAF experience
    • Extensive experience in dealing with large corporate customers in a solution design or consultancy role - ideally with experience of acting as end-end customer solution authority.
    • International experience desirable

    Managed Service Architect

    Job Description

    • Managed Service Architects are responsible for the definition and design of the specific service elements of the Customer Solution for the most complex managed service and outsource solutions offered to our VGE clients.

    The Career Opportunities

    • Based in Malaysia, the Managed Service Architect will be responsible for designing a service wrap which is fit for purpose and provides the value add solution required by the customers who take them, while ensuring compliance and deliverability within the VGE and Vodafone Group Enterprise service model.
    • This can include, but is not limited to defining service models, service performance, SLA, contract compliance, service transition planning, Statements Of Work, Future Modes of Operation and 3rd party vendor relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Producing high-quality, commercially viable solutions that have been approved by the customer and all internal stakeholders. These solutions must be compliant and documented to established service standards.
    • Undertaking solution reviews against customer requirements and offering service architecture advice and guidance on the best ways to achieve the solution goals while minimising the costs and operational complexity of compliance.
    • Providing risk assessment on proposed customer solutions, to enable Vodafone to understand and managing commercial risk due to SLA compliance and the impact of SLA breach.
    • To champion and disseminate the knowledge of “service design to ITIL standards” within the CSSO Design community.
    • Offer thought leadership to help shape and define customer requirements, working with our technical, security, commercial, product teams and the customer.

    The Candidate Profile
    The Managed Service Architect will own an individual service design work stream within the end-end solution and will be required to produce Statements of Requirements, bid text and HLDs associated with this work stream and be responsible to present their solutions to our customers.

    Essential:

    • Leading virtual solution team throughout bid
    • Analytical and critical thinking
    • Detail orientation, operates with precision.
    • Ability to both influence, and show resolve under pressure from both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure solution designs are deliverable

    Desirable:

    • Relevant higher education in a related field
    • Extensive Experience with IT Managed Services, with ITIL, eTOM or TOGAF experience
    • Extensive experience in dealing with large corporate customers.
    • Previous experience working within an international team advantageous
