    Cream Packaging Operator

    • Orange Group is looking for an experienced Cream Packaging Operator who would be responsible for:
    • Setting up, running, and adjust automated sachet filling machinery.
    • Monitor fill weights, seal integrity, and lot coding at high frequencies.
    • Minimize packaging material and product waste.
    • Perform line changeovers efficiently using Single-Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) principles.
    • Operation of multi-head volumetric filler systems.
    • Basic mechanical troubleshooting for conveyor and sensor jams.
    • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) for fill-weight tracking.
    • Competency in navigating and adjusting packaging line HMI panels.

    Requirements:

    • HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
    • Previous experience operating automated lines in a high-volume FMCG environment.
    • Documented training in Autonomous Maintenance routines.
    • Basic literacy and numeracy certifications for production logging.

    In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct line clearances and verify CIP wash water to ensure zero cross-contamination before batch changes.
    • Perform hourly line checks for fill weights, code legibility etc.
    • Audit area supervisors and operators on their adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Communicate/report and halt production lines instantly if critical quality parameters drift out of specification.

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in utilizing at-line testing equipment (e.g., portable pH meters, viscometers, weigh balance, standard weights for regular calibration check of in-line scales).
    • Deep understanding of SPC charts to identify process drift before it results in defects.
    • Knowledge of sanitation chemistry and swabbing techniques for validation.
    • Proficiency in use of Office tools.

    Educational Qualification

    • HND or BSC in a science or engineering discipline.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years experience on a high-speed production floor.
    • Specific training in statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
    • Basic certifications in factory hygiene and occupational health.

    Lab Chemical Analyst

    • Orange Drugs Limited is looking for an experienced Lab Chemical Analyst who would be responsible for:
    • Validating chemical integrity of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
    • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on raw materials (e.g., active ingredients, surfactants, base oils).
    • Perform titrations, pH testing, and viscosity checks on in-process cream batches.
    • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (spectrophotometers, viscometers, chromatographs).
    • Document and archive analytical results in compliance with quality management systems.

    Requirements:

    • BSc or HND in Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of analytical laboratory experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
    • Professional membership with relevant chemical science institutes.
    • Certification in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or ISO (e.g. 17025).
