    Wireline Engineer / Technician

    Job Summary

    • Executes cased-hole and open-hole wireline services including logging, perforation, and well intervention. Ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operations to meet client objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute wireline jobs including logging (CBL/VDL, PLT, gamma-ray, neutron, resistivity), perforation, and fishing operations.
    • Assemble, test, and calibrate wireline tools, pressure control equipment, and surface systems before mobilization.
    • Operate winch units, depth measurement systems, and acquisition software with precision.
    • Maintain control of wireline under well pressure using lubricators, grease injection systems, and other pressure control devices.
    • Supervise junior crew members and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
    • Diagnose and rectify equipment malfunctions in the field to minimize downtime.

    Requirements

    • BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
    • 2–4 years’ field experience in wireline logging and well intervention.
    • Knowledge of pressure control equipment, downhole tools, and data acquisition systems.
    • Valid BOSIET/HUET and H2S certification (for offshore roles).
    • Ability to work in challenging environments and rotational schedules.

    Electronic Lab Technician / Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for workshop-based inspection, testing, calibration, and repair of downhole tools, surface equipment, and electronic assemblies used in E-line and wireline operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Inspect tools and equipment returned from the field, identifying faults or damage.
    • Perform functional tests, calibration, and preventive maintenance on electronic boards, sensors, telemetry units, and surface acquisition systems.
    • Troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs), connectors, and wiring harnesses.
    • Maintain detailed maintenance records and tool history logs for quality control.
    • Coordinate with field engineers to resolve technical issues affecting service delivery.
    • Ensure workshop safety standards and proper handling of sensitive/high-voltage components.

    Requirements

    • BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in electronics maintenance, preferably in the oilfield service industry.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
    • Skilled in diagnostic equipment, soldering, and electronic repairs.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    E-Line Logging Technician / Engineer (Field-Based)

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for executing electric-line (E-line) well logging operations, ensuring accurate data acquisition, safe service delivery, and proper maintenance of downhole tools and surface systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare, assemble, test, and calibrate E-line logging tools (e.g., CBL/VDL, PLT, GR, neutron, resistivity tools) before field deployment.
    • Operate and monitor surface winch units, depth measurement systems, telemetry, and acquisition software to acquire high-quality well data.
    • Correlate logs to reference depth markers and verify data integrity before delivery to clients.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electronic issues in the field, with minimal downtime.
    • Ensure all equipment is handled, transported, and operated in compliance with company and client HSE standards.
    • Complete job reports, tool run records, and maintenance logs promptly.

    Requirements

    • BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
    • 2–3 years’ E-line logging experience in oilfield operations.
    • Proficiency in downhole tool operation, data acquisition software, and telemetry systems.
    • Valid BOSIET/HUET and H2S certification (for offshore roles).
    • Ability to work rotational shifts in remote onshore/offshore locations.
