    Wells Advisor IIII

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • The Wells Advisor job role is meant to convey the generic kinds of experiences and skill proficiencies of a late-career/ Expert-competency level individual in this role. 
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Resources should be well versed in drilling, well, or construction operations. 
    • Wells Advisors typically have expertise in one or more job family skills and serve as resources to mentor and develop the broader organization. 
    • Wells Advisors are essential in order to mentor and advise drilling and completion engineers on well planning, well design, and operational surveillance for the safe and efficient drilling and completing of drilling programs.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 must: 

    • Mentor and interface with less-experienced drilling and completion engineers. 
    • Provide oversight of Drilling programs, and ensure continuity and consistency in practices across multiple rig lines. 
    • Interface with Affiliate / Business Unit on Logistics, Environmental, Regulatory, Procurement and Cost Stewardship activities. 
    • Develop and lead longer-term team performance improvement initiatives and engineering studies. 
    • Make continuous effort to improve efficiencies in Drilling and Completion operations. 
    • Participate in vendor clarifications, FAT’s and package acceptance Review and respond to spec deviation requests 
    • Review drawings and specifications 
    • Address human factors engineering as well as safety of personnel and equipment (in conjunction with Topsides and/or O&M contractor) 
    • Assist in development and review of commissioning and System Integration Test procedures 
    • Support construction and commissioning efforts as required

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Civil preferably) 
    • Advanced analytical and computing skills 
    • Experience required in construction site management, preferably familiar with Drilling well site design 
    • Adaptability to changing priorities 
    • Extensive experience in Drilling Rig development including FEED, Detail Design, Construction and Commissioning 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
    • Ability to organize and progress own work schedule
    • Experience working within multi-disciplined team environment involving multiple stakeholders 
    • Familiar with applicable industry-related codes (API, ASME, ANSI, SAE, ASTM, ABS, DNV, SOLAS, IMO) 
    • Knowledge of Offshore Oil and Gas regulations

    Rig Supervisor - FPSO Platform

    Main Functions

    • Represents the company on a rig site to support the safe and efficient execution of well plans.
    • Is the primary contact for rig and third-party personnel to ensure logistics for personnel, equipment, and services are appropriately organized and managed.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for communicating expectations regarding safety, security, health, and environment; provides guidance and supports managing Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) events
    • Responsible for communicating Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) expectations on the rig site
    • Monitors rig operations to provide feedback and input to the rig contractor to ensure well control procedures are properly followed, and emergency situations are appropriately managed
    • Responsible for ensuring that safety, operational, environmental, security and other drills are conducted on site at specified frequencies
    • Responsible for ensuring drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved and utilizes management of change processes if changes are required
    • Orders and organizes logistics for services and equipment necessary to conduct drilling and completion operations efficiently
    • Supports onsite surveillance requirements for the operation in areas such as kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque & drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency
    • Responsible for generation of accurate and adequate operations reports
    • Interfaces with engineering and geology to ensure understanding of well objectives and procedural requirements

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles for drilling and completion operations
    • Experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor
    • Hold current certification for Well Control.

    Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer / Specialist III - Senior Position

    Main Functions

    • The Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will perform or coordinate effort for cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight, and quality assurance reviews for Company-operated and Other Builder Operator estimates for all Gate and Funding milestones.
    • The Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will also prepare Check Estimates and Schedules to compare with Operated by Others (OBO).
    • Also, this person will participate in estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases). Lastly, they are expected to participate in Estimating Group process efficiency tools and quality assurance review process improvements.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 would:

    • Be responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, etc.
    • Work with project estimator, planner, and scheduler and Client’s accounting staff
    • Coordinate and assemble the monthly progress reports
    • Work closely with client’s project manager and team leads for regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience with 8-15 years experience
    • Previous experience in a closely related position
    • Skills to negotiate and broker successful solutions between Internal Coordination parties above
    • Advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning, and Project Controls
    • Strong Influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
    • Adaptability to changing priorities
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to organize, plan, control, coordinate, and effectively manage cross-functional activities.

    Cost Estimating Lead III

    Main Functions

    • The Cost Estimating Lead will provide direct oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for Company operated and Other Builder Operator estimates for cost estimates for all Gate and Funding milestones.
    • The Estimating Lead will also coordinate the preparation of Check Estimates / Schedules to compare with Operated by Others (OBO) Operator-prepared submittals and Estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases).
    • This person will also provide leadership and consulting to the Estimating Supervisor on the direction and progressing improvements to Estimating Group process efficiency tools and quality assurance review improvements.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 would:

    • Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
    • Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients
    • Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
    • Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT team as and when required.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
    • Previous experience in a closely related position and/or experience in a cost & schedule estimating
    • Skills to negotiate and broker successful solutions between Internal Coordination parties above
    • Strong Influencing, Consulting, Mentoring, Analytical, and Computing skills
    • Adaptability to changing priorities
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting.
