Role Overview:

• The Video Editor is responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging content tailored for various platforms and audiences.
• This role focuses solely on post-production, ensuring every edit meets Rovatel Media’s creative and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into sharp, compelling videos for social media, marketing, and branded projects
• Apply transitions, captions, effects, graphics, and sound design to elevate content quality
• Collaborate closely with the Media Lead and Creative Team to understand project objectives and deliverables
• Optimize videos for platform-specific formats (Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks, promotional cuts)
• Organize, manage, and archive project files efficiently
• Stay current on editing techniques, trends, and best practices

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio of edited video work
• Proficiency with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
• Excellent storytelling instincts, pacing, and visual creativity
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, events, and brand projects
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear
• Collaborate with the Media Lead and Creative Team on concepts and shot lists
• Edit footage into engaging final videos, including color correction, sound design, captions, transitions, and effects
• Manage video files, ensure organized storage, and maintain proper backups
• Stay updated on the latest video trends, formats, and editing styles (especially for Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Deliver videos optimized for different platforms and audience needs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a videographer and editor (portfolio required)
• Proficiency with camera equipment and editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with social media video trends and platform requirements
