Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to determine their travel needs and preferences
• Organize complete travel packages, including transportation, accommodations, and other travel services
• Provide relevant information, brochures, and publications to travelers
• Promote sales and meet profit targets
• Research and study different travel destinations and options
• Keep up-to-date with changes in travel regulations and visa requirements
• Book transportation, make hotel reservations, and collect payments
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
• Deal with any travel problems, complaints, or refunds that arise
• Attend travel seminars to stay updated on tourism trends
• Maintain relationships with key individuals and network with tour operators
• Maintain statistical and financial records.

Minimum Requirements

• HND in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or a relevant field
• 2+ years of experience as a Travel Agent or similar role
• IATA certification is an added advantage
• Knowledgeable about travel, tourism, offers & trends
• Excellent sales and presentation skills
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration and Benefits

• N110,000 - N150,000 Monthly.

• We are currently seeking an experienced Ticketing and Reservation Officer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ticket sales, reservations, and customer inquiries for our travel company.
• As a Ticketing and Reservation Officer, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and work with customers to ensure their travel arrangements are seamless and hassle-free.
• You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and managing inventory to ensure the availability of tickets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ticket sales and reservations via phone, email, or in person.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
• Work with customers to ensure their travel arrangements meet their needs and preferences
• Keep accurate records of ticket sales, inventory, and customer interactions
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient customer service
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• HND in Tourism, Hospitality or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• IATA certification is an added advantage
• Must have experience with either Galileo or Amadeus booking systems
• Proven experience in ticketing and reservations, preferably in the travel industry
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Remuneration and Benefits

• N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
