    Technical Supervisor

    Purpose

    • To supervise all operations in the Bottling and Margarine Plant.

    The Job

    • Ensure that all products produced are of high quality and standards.
    • Prepare and submit daily reports of production to the Process Manager daily, weekly, and monthly, etc.
    • Ensure Production Targets are met.
    • Ensure that the processed parameters and specifications are adhered to by all Operators.
    • Prevent and control hazards and accidents by ensuring machines are kept in good condition.
    • Ensure adherence to hygiene standards by all Operators, Packers, and Cleaners.
    • Ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained by all subordinates.
    • Commitment and compliance to all safety programs and standards.
    • Commitment and compliance with high-quality product and standards.
    • Proper planning of Production to reduce frequent line changeovers and downtimes.
    • Ensure compliance with FSMS requirement in the assigned work process.

    Qualifications

    • 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.
    • OND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience in a similar role.

    The Person Must:

    • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
    • A solid understanding of technical operations, maintenance processes, and equipment functionality.
    • Be skilled in supervising technical teams to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and repair activities.
    • Possess strong problem-solving, planning, and coordination abilities to minimize downtime.
    • Exhibit leadership, communication, and documentation skills for effective task management and reporting.

    Assistant Shift Operations Manager

    Purpose

    • To coordinate the discharge of all 3rd party cargos that is delivered through ABTL and ensure efficient and effective berth planning.
    • To manage activities of weigh bridge, CCTV and mobile crane operations.

    The Job

    • Coordinate the safe and timely discharge of cargoes and minimize vessel turnaround time.
    • Coordinate and ensure efficient and smooth operations of all functional weigh bridges within the Terminal.
    • Coordinate mobile crane operations across verticals.
    • Supervise all operational activities during assigned shifts and escalate issues promptly.
    • Update and ensure timely submission of operations report.
    • Support shipping operation team with vessel documentation and reporting to minimize vessel dwell time.
    • Supervise traffic marshal activities to minimize congestion in the terminal.

    Qualifications

    •  HND/B.Sc. in Science or Engineering Courses.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.

    The Person Must:

    • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Be detail-oriented and capable of preparing and reviewing operational reports accurately and on time.
    • Have sound knowledge of terminal operations, cargo handling, and vessel discharge procedures.
    • Possess strong leadership and supervisory abilities with a focus on teamwork and accountability.

    Auto Electrician Apapa Bulk Terminal Limited

    PURPOSE

    To ensure that Heavy duty Machines function optimally by managing all electrical repairs and maintenance in a safe, cost effective and quality centred approach

    THE JOB

    • Carry out troubleshooting of electrical faults on heavy duty machines such as Forklifts, Wheel loaders, Cranes, Bobcats, excavators, Tele handlers, Container handlers, Hiab Trucks, Cherie picker etc.
    • Repairs and maintenance of all electrical faults on Heavy duty machines – PMS, AGO & Battery powered.
    • Ability to diagnose and repair starter motors & alternators.
    • Efficient utilization of CAT- Electronic technician & SIS in troubleshooting equipment fault.
    • Carry out routine, preventive and scheduled electrical maintenance on all heavy equipment.
    • Conduct regular electrical checks in line with best maintenance practice and drive autonomous in Electrical checks.
    • Proper documentation & generation of service report on equipment maintained.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems and components in heavy-duty machines such as forklifts, cranes, excavators, wheel loaders, and similar equipment.
    • Be proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, including starter motors, alternators, and wiring systems.
    • Have hands-on experience in conducting preventive, routine, and scheduled electrical maintenance on heavy-duty equipment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    •   5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of two years of experience.

    Mechanic - Power Plant

    PURPOSE

    To ensure the smooth running of the installed generators for capacity utilization.

    THE JOB

    • Ensure that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations and never implements any change, whether directly instructed.
    • Services and repair all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
    • Operates all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
    • Operates main distribution panels for power change – over.
    • Carry out maintenance and repairs of installed generators to avoid breakdown.
    • Carry out maintenance repairs of auxiliary equipment’s for the running of the generators.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Be good in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel and gas-powered generators and auxiliary equipment.
    • Have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining main distribution panels for power change-over.
    • Demonstrate strong mechanical and analytical skills in diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of two years of experience
