Job Purpose
To provide skilled work in the installations, repair, operation and maintenance of electrical components at various stations within the company.

Main Job tasks and responsibilities

• Layout, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs & modifies developmental & production electronic components, parts, equipment and systems
• Recommends changes in circuiting or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
• Adjusts, calibrates, aligns and modifies circuiting and components & records effect on unit performance
• Make cable and wiring connections accurately
• Repair and maintain electronic systems as needed
• Maintain documentations of system installation and maintenance procedures

Reporting
Reports to Group General Manager (Broadcasting and Technical)

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role or a technical qualification
• Minimum 5 years experience

Key Competencies

• Ability to multi task
• Knowledge of electronic systems and components
• Has technical skills
• Gives their absolute best

Main Job tasks and responsibilities

• Carries out preventive maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems
• Repairs faulty refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and plant
• Carries out checks and logs of the status of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Requisitions for materials required for the smooth operation of the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Assists in verification of refrigeration and air conditioning spare purchases supplied.

Reporting

• Reports to Group General Manager (Broadcasting and Technical)

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role or a technical qualification
• Minimum 5 years experience
