    Team Leader, Packaging - I

    Key Outputs and Responsibilities

    • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
    • Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation
    • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards Optimize Production Performance & Processes
    • Manage shift in accordance with VPO tools and principles
    • Manage shift to achieve production plan within the allowed costs
    • Co-ordinate scheduled maintenance and autonomous operations
    • Monitor and co-ordinate production processes to within budget.
    • Interpret and implement the production plan for shift.
    • Build and foster relationships with customers and suppliers.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Ensure application of admin systems and procedures.
    • Administer conditions of employment for team members.
    • Contribute to self and team development.
    • Prepare and control budgets. Initiate and Facilitate Team Problem Solving and Decision Making
    • Apply problem solving and decision making techniques and principles.
    • Facilitate team problem solving Manage Human Resources
    • Develop employees.
    • Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate.
    • Manage and apply people policies and practices.

    Optimize Team Performance:

    • Facilitate effective team dynamics.
    • Implement performance management and OPR processes
    • To lead the shift based team/s in the execution of the production plan to the required performance criteria (QCDSM).

    Education

    • B.Sc / HND or equivalent in Engineering.

    Experience:

    • Experience in a packaging process environment at Supervisory level.
    • Minimum of 2 years in FMCG environment
    • Experience in managing and running a high speed packaging line.

    Laboratory Technician (Micro)

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Carry out specialized and highly specialized quality analyses for which the shift-based teams are not responsible
    • Record the results of analyses on appropriate information systems and communicate results where required
    • Conduct analysis of results to identify problems and improvement opportunities timeously
    • Assist the shift-based teams in the execution of quality analysis, where required
    • Conduct calibration of specialist equipment for which the labs are responsible and provide calibration assistance to the shift-based teams where required
    • Conduct required and requested quality audits, completing the appropriate documentation and communicating the results
    • Review quality analysis procedures of shift-based teams, identifying problems or training needs and communicating these to the team leader
    • Conduct regular audits of calibration procedures of shift-based production teams and communicating results
    • Conduct audits of analytic procedures to ensure compliance with COT guidelines, and identifying corrective actions required
    • Where required, initiate corrective actions coming out of the quality audits in areas that impact the laboratory
    • Support the shift-based production teams in problem solving, providing specialist assistance and techniques
    • Coach, mentor and assist shift-based production teams on problem solving and correct use of problem-solving techniques
    • Support the shift-based production teams by assisting in training needs analysis
    • Coach, mentor and assist shift-based production teams quality analyses and correct use of analytical techniques
    • Carry out specialized analyses in support of the evaluation of continuous improvement opportunities
    • Determine additional analytical work required evaluating continuous improvement opportunities
    • Take part in regional and divisional process optimization initiatives as required
    • Prepared to work shifts

    Inventory Clerk Packaging

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    • Manage adherence to stores business processes to ensure governance and optimum inventory.
    • Goods are GRN'd on receipt from suppliers and coincides with delivery note.
    • Deviations from delivery notes are escalated
    • Invoices are GRN'd when received
    • Execution and adherence to FEFO Standards
    • Compliance to all stock count procedures & policies.
    • Place orders with suppliers for raw materials required for production.
    • Reconcile & balance stock issues to Brewing on SAP and PQT systems.
    • Resolve SSC queries & clear GR/IR reports.
    • Do ICE control checks weekly & compile ICE documents as per checklist.
    • Reconcile & balance stock issues to Brewing to SAP.
    • Resolve SSC queries & clear GR/IR reports.
    • Always Comply to AB-InBev Inventory Policies.
    • Implementation of Level 1 VPO.

    Key Attributes and Competencies:

    Education

    • BSc/HND in Relevant Discipline

    • Min - 2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment
