Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children.
• Assisting with lesson planning and implementing activities
• Support the lead teacher in preparing the classroom for lessons
• Ensure children's safety and well-being by maintaining a clean and organized space.
• Play a key role in observing and reporting children's development and adhering to health and safety regulations
• Support the lead teacher to create and maintain an orderly and supportive environment,
• Encourage pupils to interact with the class and engage in activities.
• Must be creative, patient and have empathy
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs and personalities.
• Support the use of technology in learning and develop pupils’ competence and independence in its use
• Uphold policies and procedures relating to child protection and data protection.
• Supervise pupils before school, after school and on school trips.

Skills / Education

• Must have NCE or OND certificate with 2 - 4 years work experience.
• Residence in Surulere or surrounding areas of Lagos is required.

• Ensure children's safety and well-being by maintaining a clean and organized space.
• Play a key role in observing and reporting children's development and adhering to health and safety regulations
• Preparing snacks and meals where necessary
• Assist the lead teacher in creating a child friendly environment
• Assist with daily routines like feeding, toilet breaks, and rest times, ensuring children's basic needs are met
• Engage & encourage students to learn.

Requirements

• Must have NCE or OND
• Must be creative, patient andhave empathy
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills
• Residence in Surulere or surrounding areas of Lagos is required.
