    Storyteller Intern

    Role Summary

    • We are looking for a creative, curious, and digitally savvy intern who loves telling stories, building online communities, and amplifying impact through content.
    • The Storyteller, Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern will support our brand visibility, community engagement, and marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
    • This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
    • Prospective corps members must reside within or around the Jabi, Utako, and Wuye axis, as this is a fully ONSITE role.

    Key Responsibilities
    Storytelling & Content Creation:

    • Research and develop compelling stories around startups, founders, programs, partners, and ecosystem impact
    • Write engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and websites
    • Capture and curate content from events, workshops, demo days, and interviews
    • Turn complex ideas into simple, human-centered narratives

    Social Media Management:

    • Support daily management of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
    • Draft and schedule posts using content calendars
    • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and grow online communities
    • Track trends and suggest creative content ideas

    Digital Marketing Support:

    • Assist with digital campaigns for programs, events, and partnerships
    • Support email marketing and basic CRM activities
    • Help track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions)
    • Assist with basic SEO, hashtags, and content optimization

    Visual & Multimedia Support (Strong Advantage):

    • Create simple graphics using tools like Canva
    • Support short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
    • Assist with basic photography or video editing

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Recently graduated in Communications, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field
    • Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
    • Active user of social media platforms with a good understanding of trends
    • Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability
    • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    • Experience managing social media accounts
    • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar
    • Interest in startups, tech, innovation, climate, or entrepreneurship ecosystems
    • Basic analytics knowledge (LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Analytics, etc.)

    What You’ll Gain:
