This person will:

• Ensure provision of materials for all planned and breakdown maintenance work, based on Inventory strategy and historic demand   
•  Ensure the preservation and safe storage of all inventories   
• Optimise cost of Inventory through reduction in waste   
• Ensure all HSSE requirements are met for storage and quality of materials and safety of personnel within the warehouse facilities   

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the inventory management system

ERP

• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and follow up on material request from internal users until delivery. 
• Coordinate the arrangement and rotation of warehouse cargo/items.   
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment.
• Implement 5S techniques (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain warehouse organization.
• Address operational shortfalls and maintenance needs promptly.           
• Scrutinize all deliveries to ensure defective or incorrect items are returned.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and materials.
• Coordinates Inter Company Sales and deliveries to and from the warehouse.
• Keep detailed records of materials and supplies issued.
• Prepare work orders purchase requisition for equipment repairs.
• Report workplace safety and health (WSH) incidents
• Review warehousing quality issues and implement corrective actions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Academic qualification, Bsc or Equivalent.
• A knowledge in data analytics will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operational asset maintenance or inventory management related environment   
• Practical, analytical mindset    
• Understanding of asset maintenance principles, its processes and requirements and relationship to the supply chain    
• Structured, driven, self-motivating and result orientated   
• Highly disciplined – following through on actions and ensuring necessary documentation   
• High quality awareness and ability to work with constant care    
• Sensitive to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment, with respect to employees, local authorities and other stakeholders   
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence 
• Excellent written English and verbal communication

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Equipment Technician – Electrical to maintain and repair our fleet of Mobile Harbor Cranes, spreaders, and other terminal equipment. This role is critical in ensuring our equipment operates reliably, safely, and cost-effectively—supporting consistent service delivery and business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on cranes and terminal equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and availability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems to resolve breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
• Work closely with the Crane Supervisor to execute maintenance plans and improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time taken.
• Assist in recovering equipment involved in incidents using proper rigging procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in electrical maintenance of heavy mobile equipment.
• Solid understanding of control systems, circuits, and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety practices and safe working procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support other maintenance tasks when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical/vocational qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Mobile Harbor Cranes or similar container handling equipment.
• Knowledge of rigging procedures and safety protocols.
