    Senior Executive Assistant

    The Senior Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Executive, ensuring efficient coordination of daily operations, meetings, communications, and executive-level engagements. The role requires a proactive, highly organized individual capable of managing confidential information, prioritizing competing demands, and acting as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive executive support to the Executive, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
    • Manage and prioritize the Executive’s calendar, ensuring optimal time management and scheduling efficiency
    • Prepare, review, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials
    • Act as the first point of contact between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders
    • Coordinate executive meetings, board meetings, and leadership sessions, including logistics, agendas, and minutes
    • Follow up on action items and ensure timely completion of tasks assigned by the Executive
    • Support preparation for high-level meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagements
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion
    • Track and manage key deadlines, commitments, and priorities on behalf of the Executive
    • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of executive directives
    • Support special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required
    • Manage travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reporting for the Executive

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior or C-suite executives in a reputable organization
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders
    • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset
    • Experience in a corporate or multinational environment is an added advantage

    Job Summary

    Dangote Cement Plc is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. This role is critical in driving strategic talent acquisition initiatives to support our ambitious growth across manufacturing, operations, engineering, and support functions.

    The ideal candidate will excel at sourcing, attracting, and securing high-calibre talent in a competitive market, with a strong focus on technical and industrial roles. You will partner with hiring managers to build a robust talent pipeline that aligns with our vision of operational excellence and sustainable growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior level and high-volume technical positions, including Plant Engineers, Production Managers, Maintenance Specialists, and other critical roles.
    • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, career fairs, and passive candidate engagement.
    • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, create accurate job descriptions, and define role requirements.
    • Manage candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and a positive employer brand representation.
    • Conduct screening, interviews, assessments, and reference checks while maintaining compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
    • Utilize and optimize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to track metrics and generate reports on time-to-hire, quality of hire, and diversity metrics.
    • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future needs, particularly in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and project management.
    • Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to position Dangote Cement as an employer of choice in the industry.
    • Mentor junior recruiters and talent acquisition team members.
    • Stay updated on labor market trends, especially in the cement, manufacturing, and African industrial sectors.
    • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion goals in recruitment practices.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
    • Proven experience recruiting for technical and industrial roles in manufacturing industries.
    • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian labor market and recruitment landscape.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Excellent sourcing and networking abilities, with proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other advanced techniques.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Solid understanding of ATS systems and HRIS platforms.
    • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
