    • To drive the Crisis and Security Consulting business across Africa, with a primary focus on the management and development of journey management and protective services. The individual will ensure the delivery of commercial, administrative and world class operational support and to existing and prospective client projects. This is a role with a remit across Africa.

    Role Tasks And Responsibilities

    • Management of journey management and protective services operations and associated client requirements across Africa on a day-to-day basis.
    • Development of opportunities and growth within the JM/PS business.
    • Commercial management of client engagements, ensuring project costs are captured. In conjunction with Business Operations team, ensuring that project administration and project financial recording is timely, accurate and well presented.
    • Development of quality leads and authoring of high-quality proposals in respect of JM and PS projects.
    • Delivering high quality work in response to identified needs of existing and new clients. Maintaining and expanding business relationships through collaboration with clients.
    • Driving standards in respect of PS and JM delivery across Africa. Working to develop plans and standard operating procedures as well as compliance with those standards.
    • Delivery of a wide range of ad-hoc consultancy tasks in response to client needs across the region.
    • Develop strong client relationships, ensuring regular client visits are undertaken and any issues proactively identified.
    • Ensuring JM and PS projects are being delivered on time and in budget.
    • Identify and implement operations management processes.
    • Responsible for the identification and selection of third-party suppliers and vendors. Leads the vetting and management of third-party PS providers across the region.

    Requirements

    • A background in delivery of security consultancy services to the highest standard.
    • Highly developed business development skills with a track record of delivering growth.
    • A detailed knowledge of key political and operating environment dynamics and an ability to relate that to key business functions and decisions.
    • At least 10 years experience delivering commercial risk management.
    • Developed commercial skills in relation to the provision of risk management services across Africa.
    • Strong report writing skills.
    • Experience in successfully managing client / consultant relationships.
    • Highly developed communication skills and able to use the full suite of word business tools.

    Senior Operations Manager

    Requirements

    • Management of embedded consulting service operations and associated client requirements across West Africa on a day-to-day basis.
    • Oversight and quality assurance of the delivery provided by embedded consultants within the region.
    • Delivering high quality work in response to identified needs of existing and new clients. Maintaining and expanding business relationships through collaboration with clients.
    • Delivery of a wide range of ad-hoc consultancy tasks in response to client needs across the region.
    • Personnel management through the whole life cycle of a consultants time on a task, from recruitment onwards. Ensuring that roles are filled on time with consultants whose background and skills are well aligned with the role.
    • Develop strong client relationships, ensuring regular client visits are undertaken and any issues proactively identified.
    • Ensure quarterly reports are prepared for each project, highlighting areas of strength along with priorities for development.
    • Ensure all embedded consulting projects are being delivered on time and in budget.
    • Identify and implement operations management processes.
    • Developing successful client relationships.
    • Creation and management of sales leads.
    • Ensure that embedded consultants are effectively supported by Control Risks. Respond to any welfare concerns arising from the embedded consulting team.
    • Commercial management of client engagements, ensuring project costs are captured. In conjunction with Business Operations team, ensuring that project administration and project financial recording is timely, accurate and well presented. Also, management of monthly embedded consulting revenue and cost capture spreadsheet.
    • Responsible for the operational management of consultants in accordance with client requirements, Control Risks policies and appropriate international standards.
    • Scoping new projects and authoring high quality proposals.
    • Responsible for the identification and selection of third-party suppliers and vendors. Leads the vetting and management of third-party providers across the region.

    Requirements

    • A background in delivery of security consultancy services to the highest standard.
    • At least 3 years experience delivering commercial risk management.
    • Deep knowledge of Nigeria and wider regional affairs
    • Developed commercial skills in relation to the provision of risk management services in Nigeria / West Africa
    • Strong report writing skills.
    • Experience in successfully managing client / consultant relationships.
    • Highly developed communication skills
