Responsibilities

• Design and Develop APIs: Create, maintain, and optimize APIs for digital wallets, virtual accounts, and banking functionalities, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate on Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement the architecture of backend systems that power banking solutions.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data protection and privacy.
• Optimization: Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of backend systems to provide an exceptional user experience.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to maintain the stability of banking systems.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs and backend systems to facilitate seamless integration for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in the fintech and banking domain.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience developing Backend systems.
• Candidates must have necessary experience in developing APIs, virtual wallets and loan applications.
• Candidates must be equipped with the skills and experience in building Payment Gateways.
• Experience with Banking Operations and Customer Experience is also a plus.
