Responsibilities

• Meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. Maximize the sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the Corporate.
• Formulate and implement sales strategy that expands the company’s customer base and market share

Requirements

• Degree in Geography, Geoinformation sciences, Geomatic Engineering is required
• 6-8 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge in GIS, Remote Sensing, Sales and marketing
• Masters in any Business-related discipline is an added advantage.

Job Summary

• The GIS Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and developing custom applications to address spatial data management, analysis and visualization needs of client. This role also include collaborating with the relevant departments(internal) and stakeholders (external) to execute professional services projects for clients.
• The GIS Developer will support the sales and/or business development team in executing software demonstrations during presentations for clients as well as develop web mapping applications, customs geospatial tools, interactive maps and data driven applications to address clients’ unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Leverage on existing Remote Sensing and GIS tools from OEMs (Esri, NV5, HERE, and Trimble) to build solutions that meet customer needs.
• Integrate Esri, NV5, HERE and Trimble technologies to create comprehensive geospatial solutions that leverage the strengths of each platform
• Recommend and Build deployment architecture for client business needs.
• Design and implement Enterprise Geodatabase as per client request.
• Work with the team in developing software manuals that have elements of coding and software modification.
• Make presentations and demos so that customers clearly understand the Geospatial application.
• Maintain and support applications according to changing business requirements.
• Ensure data interoperability, data quality assurance, and efficient data storage, retrieval, and sharing capabilities to support geospatial projects and operations.
• Expand the functionalities of existing geospatial tools to fit into customers’ workflows.
• Recommend new technologies and techniques for application development.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Esri, NV5, HERE and Trimble technologies through continuous research and development efforts to better support client’s needs
• Ensure that application architecture meets business requirements.
• Test applications and perform bug fixes when required
• Propose development initiatives to increase programming efficiency.
• Assist in developing project proposal, budget, and schedule.
• Work effectively with the team to develop high-quality GIS solutions.
• Write and submit periodic reports.
• Undertake any other role related tasks assigned

Requirements
Know how education and Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science /Geomatic Engineering / Geospatial studies or a related course
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable
• Be proficient with Programming language (python, JavaScript, HTML and PHP).
• Be familiar with Esri and NV5 enterprise solution and deployment options.
• Knowledge of Geospatial applications and implementation strategy
• knowledge of Algorithms, including spatial data and enterprise database implementation.
• Knowledge of metadata creation and model building.
• Familiar with operating system and cloud computing platforms (such as AWS)
• Experienced with Relational Database Management System such SQL, Oracle, and SHP HANA.
• Customer Service skills
• Good understanding of Esri's ArcGIS suite, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related extensions, along with expertise in utilizing Esri's APIs (e.g., ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy for Python scripting) for custom application development.
• Strong understanding of geodatabase design principles, spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML), and data management techniques to efficiently organize, store, retrieve, and share geospatial data across different platforms and technologies
• Competence in utilizing Trimble’s geospatial technologies, HERE, and NV5 solutions.
• Knowledge of GIS Analysis automation workflows, and software development
