    Rooms Division Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage all Rooms Division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, Guest Relations, Concierge, Bell Desk, and Laundry.
    • Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service and consistently high levels of guest satisfaction throughout the guest journey.
    • Coordinate seamless communication and collaboration between Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other operational departments.
    • Maximize room revenue by optimizing occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), RevPAR, and room inventory management.
    • Oversee the reservation process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and optimal room allocation.
    • Ensure efficient and professional guest check-in, check-out, and billing processes.
    • Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and effective service recovery.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain Rooms Division Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service standards.
    • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards.
    • Supervise housekeeping operations to ensure room readiness and adherence to quality standards.
    • Monitor preventive maintenance of guest rooms and coordinate timely repairs with the Engineering Department.
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and operational facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Prepare departmental budgets and effectively manage operating expenses within approved limits.
    • Analyze operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
    • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate Rooms Division employees to build a high-performing team.
    • Ensure all employees comply with the hotel's grooming standards, appearance policy, and code of conduct.
    • Prepare duty rosters and manage staffing levels to ensure efficient operations and productivity.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
    • Monitor inventory levels for linen, guest supplies, amenities, uniforms, and housekeeping equipment.
    • Implement effective cost-control measures to minimize waste and maximize departmental profitability.
    • Drive employee engagement, motivation, and teamwork within the Rooms Division.
    • Conduct regular departmental meetings, shift briefings, and performance review sessions.
    • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Department to support occupancy growth and enhance the guest experience.
    • Support VIP arrivals, group check-ins, special events, and other high-profile guest requirements.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational and performance reports to the General Manager.
    • Monitor compliance with Bolton White Group brand standards and quality assurance requirements.
    • Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain service excellence.
    • Promote innovation and continuous improvement in Rooms Division operations through technology, best practices, and process enhancements.
    • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, professionalism, and service excellence across all Rooms Division teams.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager in support of the hotel's strategic objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 10 - 15 years experience.
