    Relationship Manager (Corporate)

    Job Summary

    • The Relationship Manager will support the execution of corporate banking and business development strategies by managing client relationships, driving deposit mobilization, and contributing to the growth of the company’s asset and liability portfolio.
    • The role requires a proactive, commercially driven professional with strong relationship management skills and the ability to identify and convert business opportunities across corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth client segments.

    Key Responsibilities
    Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    • Support the development and maintenance of relationships with corporate, institutional, and HNI clients
    • Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into active clients
    • Manage assigned client portfolios to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth
    • Provide tailored financial solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue

    Business Development & Revenue Generation:

    • Drive deposit mobilization and support liability growth targets
    • Assist in achieving assigned asset and liability benchmarks
    • Cross-sell company products including lending, investment, and advisory services
    • Support execution of strategies aimed at expanding the client base

    Market Intelligence & Client Insight:

    • Gather and report market intelligence, competitor activity, and client feedback
    • Identify emerging opportunities within assigned sectors
    • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making by management

    Operational Support & Execution:

    • Prepare and maintain accurate client records, reports, and pipeline updates
    • Support execution of approved marketing and business development strategies
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

    Reporting & Performance Tracking:

    • Submit periodic reports on client activities, pipeline development, and performance
    • Provide updates to the Senior Relationship Manager on progress against targets
    • Support forecasting of business opportunities and revenue projections

    Execution & Compliance:

    • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies
    • Execute assigned tasks from Senior Relationship Manager and management

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Value of deposits mobilized and assets generated
    • Number of new clients onboarded
    • Growth and retention of assigned portfolio
    • Conversion rate of leads to active clients
    • Quality and timeliness of reports submitted
    • Contribution to team and departmental targets

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
    • 3–6 years’ experience in banking, financial services, or corporate sales/marketing
    • Strong understanding of credit, deposits, and investment products
    • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and sales
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment

    Business Development Manager (Lagos & Abuja)

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving aggressive new business acquisition, deposit mobilization, and revenue generation across Lagos and Abuja.
    • The role is primarily focused on market expansion, client acquisition, and pipeline development, bringing in high-value corporate, institutional, and HNI clients into the Sage Grey Finance ecosystem.
    • This is a pure origination role designed for a high-performing sales professional with strong market access and a proven ability to close deals.

    Key Objectives of the Role
    Revenue Generation & Portfolio Target:

    • Achieve a minimum of ₦2.5 billion in new business (assets and liabilities) within the first six month.
    • Drive consistent inflow of deposits, investments, and structured funding
    • Generate high-quality, convertible business opportunities

    New Client Acquisition:

    • Identify and onboard new corporate, institutional, and HNI clients
    • Build strong market presence across Lagos and Abuja business environments
    • Expand the company’s client base through strategic networking and prospecting

    Business Origination:

    • Originate new deals in deposits, lending, and investment products
    • Present and pitch financial solutions to prospective clients
    • Convert leads into active, revenue-generating relationships

    Pipeline Development & Management:

    • Build and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline
    • Track prospects from initiation to closure
    • Ensure continuous flow of qualified opportunities into the business

    Market Intelligence:

    • Provide feedback on market trends, client behaviour, and competitor activity
    • Identify emerging sectors and opportunities in both regions
    • Share insights to support strategic decision-making

    Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
    Performance will be measured based on:

    • ₦2.5bn new business acquisition target
    • Volume and value of deposits and funds raised
    • Number of new clients onboarded
    • Conversion rate from pipeline to closed deals
    • Quality of client relationships initiated
    • Regional market penetration (Lagos & Abuja)
    • Accuracy and consistency of pipeline reporting

    Accountability:

    • Accountable for delivery of new business targets
    • Works closely with Relationship Managers for onboarding and conversion
    • Operates with high independence but strong performance oversight

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
    • 4–8 years’ experience in sales, banking, financial services, or business development
    • Strong proven ability in client acquisition and revenue generation
    • Established network across corporate and HNI segments
    • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
    • Strong resilience and target-driven mindset
