    Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager

    Job Brief

    • We seek to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for analyzing budgets, preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with contractors and vendors, and supporting effective project delivery. The role requires strong analytical, financial, and relationship management skills.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Identify potential financial and construction risks.
    • Document project progress, materials, and reports.
    • Advise on property taxes, regulations, and local laws.
    • Undertake cost analysis for all BPL projects.
    • Document design changes and update budgets accordingly.
    • Assist in establishing client requirements and conducting feasibility studies.
    • Advise on procurement strategies.
    • Perform risk analysis, value management, and cost control.
    • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
    • Prepare tenders and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the Project Managers and Design Team.
    • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Factor in health and safety regulations in all contract activities.
    • Prepare summary reports for clients and other stakeholders.
    • Value completed work and coordinate payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Advise on outstanding contractual claims and payments due.
    • Prepare and submit regular project cost and progress reports.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
    • Relevant experience in engineering, estimation, or finance is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and strategic skills.
    • Good networking, numerical, and data analysis competence

    Civil Engineer / Project Manager

    Job Description

    • Briscoe Properties Limited (BPL) is a real estate development company, a subsidiary of R.T. Briscoe (Nigeria) Plc offering sales, management, and engineering services related to the property industry.
    • We seek to recruit an experienced Civil Engineer with project management skills to complete construction projects by planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities; completing quality inspections; and supervising sub-contractors and staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities in the plant and estates.
    • Estimate quantities and cost of materials to determine feasibility of given tasks (projects).
    • Provide technical advice regarding designs, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs.
    • Conduct studies of environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess potential impacts of projects.
    • Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities in plant and estate jobs/workmanship.
    • Plan maintenance jobs and scheduling.
    • Raise indents (orders) for critical spare parts.
    • Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance jobs.
    • Log daily job reports.
    • Ensure that all safety measures and procedures are strictly adhered to during job execution.
    • Coordinate jobs with other sections/departments for seamless operations and maintenance activities.
    • Prepare weekly/monthly consumption reports.

    Requirements

    • Civil Engineering Degree is required.
    • Minimum of 5–6 years practical working experience on site.
    • Strong design and execution skills.
    • Licensed by recognized Engineering Regulatory Bodies in Nigeria such as COREN, NSE, or PMP.
    • Experience in infrastructure and building projects.
    • Expert experience in project management.
    • Proficiency in standard industry software.
