    QA/QC Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The QA/QC Engineer will oversee the implementation of quality control procedures for MEPF systems, conduct inspections and tests, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
    • You will ensure that all systems comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement MEPF quality control plans and procedures.
    • Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of MEPF installations and commissioning.
    • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve MEPF quality issues.
    • Monitor and analyze MEPF quality performance metrics, generate reports, and present findings to management.
    • Ensure compliance with MEPF-related codes, standards, and regulations.
    • Provide guidance and training to project teams on MEPF quality control processes.
    • Participate in the selection and evaluation of MEPF subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Review MEPF design and construction documents for quality compliance.
    • Conduct MEPF risk assessments and contribute to hazard mitigation strategies.
    • Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and emerging standards related to MEPF systems.
    • Assist employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
    • Analyse all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
    • Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience in MEPF systems within the building services industry.
    • Hands-on experience with MEPF installations, testing, and commissioning processes.
    • In-depth understanding of MEPF systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection).
    • Familiarity with MEPF testing equipment, quality control software, and tools.

    Quantity Surveying (QS) Officer

    Job Description

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration for MEPF & ELV projects. They will work closely with project teams to minimize costs, enhance value, and ensure quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in preparation of plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
    • Assist in tracking changes in plans or constructions, update budgets.
    • Document progress, materials and reports on project
    • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Project managers, design department and/or the client.
    • Undertake cost and Tender analysis for company’s projects
    • Assist in establishing client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
    • Make valuations and ensure quality control of work done
    • Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.
    • Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
    • Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
    • Follow up to ensure deliverables are being created on schedule
    • Value completed work and arrange payments.
    • Arrange payments to suppliers and sub-contractors

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Quantity Surveying.
    • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in the building services industry with a focus on Electromechanical, Firefighting, HVAC, plumbing and Extra-Low Voltage systems projects.
    • Professional certification with Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (QSRBN) and other Professional bodies will be an added advantage.
