    Purchase Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are a leading player in the building materials and ceramics manufacturing sector, committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. 
    • We are expanding our team and looking for a qualified and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations at our Ajaokuta Factory.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Having Fair knowledge of the various inventory items used in the manufacturing process.
    • Exposure to OEM, and suppliers of relevant goods.
    • Have played tecno commercial role, with the analytical ability to work on re-order levels.
    • To engage with cross functions and ensure agreed lead time and cycle time is maintained.
    • Capability to look at alternatives and innovate to drive cost-efficiency solutions.
    • Engage with suppliers to ensure commitment dates are met.
    • Engage with internal customers to move PR to PO to receipt.
    • Ensure technical specs and quality parameters are met.
    • To ensure supplier relationship is maintained.
    • To ensure supplier audits are done to maintain standards.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/procurement environment
    • Strong computer skills
    • Analytical mindset with a techno-commercial approach
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of effective negotiation and cost-saving initiatives/strategic sourcing.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
    • Experience in managing and developing procurement teams.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

    Warehouse Shift In-charge

    Summary

    • We are expanding our team and looking for a qualified and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations at our Ajaokuta Factory.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure SOP are complied to, set the right process for good governance
    • To ensure inwards and outwards are done in timely manner and with well controlled
    • To ensure loading of trucks as done as per sales order
    • To ensure ERP compliance is done
    • To supervise drivers and loaders
    • To ensure there are no breakages in WH and stocks are kept properly
    • To ensure periodic physical verification is done
    • To ensure stocks are maintained properly
    • To ensure timely ERP entries are passed
    • To have exposure in bar coding, stretch hood etc.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment
    • Strong computer skills
    • Analytical mindset with a techno-commercial approach
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of effective negotiation and cost-saving initiatives/strategic sourcing.
    • Strong knowledge of warehouseprocesses, and vendor management.
    • Experience in managing and developing Storeteams.

    Spares Store In-Charge

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure SOPS are complied with and set the right process for good governance
    • To ensure the spares consumption pattern is analysed and the purchase requisition is raised on time
    • To ensure GRN is prepared on time and consumption is booked on a timely basis
    • To ensure 5s is implemented in the warehouse, with minimal time taken for retrieval
    • To keep a track of PR placed, till goods inwards
    • To ensure goods received are as per the packing list and the PR raised
    • To ensure that periodic cyclical physical verification is done
    • To ensure stocks are maintained properly
    • To ensure that timely ERP entries are passed
    • To coordinate with the Mumbai office/the Purchase team/C&F team to ensure documents are received for the GRN
    • Timely escalate if any receipts or issues are pending for booking
    • To ensure the correct cost centres are used

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Diploma or a graduate in the Engineering field with 5+ years' Spare/store management.
    • Customer-centric with a positive attitude
    • Warehouse management is a plus.
