Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with over five years of proven expertise in the Information Technology sector, managing complex projects for top industries and large organizations within and outside Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of IT solutions with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills to ensure successful delivery of projects that meet business goals.
• This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, execution excellence, and client relationship management, with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment of business expectations with technical delivery.
• Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams including developers, engineers, business analysts, and vendors.
• Prepare and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques; report progress to senior leadership.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, and best practices in project delivery.
• Drive adoption of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid as required).
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers to ensure quality delivery.
• Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements for continuous project excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized institution.
• Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, or equivalent are required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Project Manager in the Information Technology sector.
• Successful track record managing enterprise-level IT projects for large organizations or top sectors, both within and outside Nigeria.
• Experience in IT solution deployment, systems integration, digital transformation, or large-scale software implementation projects.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of IT solutions, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.

Job Description

• The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction by offering tailored technology solutions to meet client needs.
• The role involves managing key accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling/cross-selling, and ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Understand clients’ business needs, industry trends, and challenges to provide strategic solutions.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
• Develop account strategies and sales plans to meet revenue targets and company objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, and product teams) to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and prepare regular reports on account health and revenue performance.
• Manage contract negotiations, pricing, and renewals to maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular account reviews and business meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position FPG as a trusted partner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related fields (MBA is an advantage).
• 4–6 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role in IT solutions or technology industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
