    Project Accountant (Construction)

    Job Summary

    • The Project Accountant will ensure the financial health and compliance of projects throughout their lifecycle. 

    Responsibilities
    Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Develop project budgets in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
    • Monitor and analyze project costs against budget, providing regular variance reports.
    • Forecast cash flow needs for each project and ensure adequate liquidity.

    Cost Management:

    • Track and record all project-related expenses, including materials, labor, and subcontractor payments.
    • Ensure proper allocation of costs to specific projects and phases.
    • Review and approve purchase orders and vendor invoices for project-related expenses.

    Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each project, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
    • Provide detailed financial performance reports to management, including profit margins and return on investment (ROI).

    Compliance & Audit:

    • Ensure all project financial activities comply with company policies, tax regulations, and relevant accounting standards.
    • Facilitate audits by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during project audits.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, such as cost overruns and delays.
    • Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard project assets and resources.

    Liaison & Collaboration:

    • Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure financial alignment.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for financial queries related to projects.
    • Support contract negotiations by providing financial insights and cost analyses.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4 years experience.

    Site Engineer

    Key Responsibilities
    Site Management & Supervision:

    • Oversee daily site operations to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Monitor and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and site workers.
    • Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the approved design, specifications, and project timelines.

    Quality Control & Compliance:

    • Conduct routine inspections to ensure work is executed to the highest quality standards.
    • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues on-site promptly.

    Project Coordination:

    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction plans.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on project progress and potential challenges.
    • Interpret and implement construction drawings and plans on-site.

    Resource Management:

    • Plan and allocate materials, tools, and labor efficiently.
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of materials and equipment on-site.
    • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, including updates on project status, work completed, and any site issues.
    • Document and maintain records of site activities, inspections, and incidents.
    • Provide input for project reports to the project manager and senior management.

    Health & Safety:

    • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards on-site.
    • Conduct regular safety briefings and drills to minimize accidents and hazards.
    • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.

    Job Qualification

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree in any relevant field.
