    Program Manager

    Description 

    • Our client is looking to hire an innovative Program Manager to coordinate STEM-related initiatives at their organization.
    • The ideal candidate will ensure the successful development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that inspire and challenge students, engage the community, and align with our educational goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with educators and school leadership to design and implement engaging STEM programs.
    • Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure program success.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and community partners.
    • Coordinate events such as STEM fairs, robotics competitions, and guest speaker sessions.
    • Research and integrate new technologies and best practices into curriculum planning.

    Head of Research

    Job Summary

    • We are looking to hire a Head of Research who is responsible for working with the CIO to conceptualize and set investment strategy.
    • The ideal candidate also oversees the management of the organization's investment portfolios in line with the strategy and works to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
    • This role sets a market direction, creates a plan of action and ensures implementation.
    • It also analyzes market trends, identifies potential investment opportunities through research, and makes informed decisions about where to allocate funds.
    • This role will also lead the Quantitative research effort to better understand the drivers of return and to provide input into models that help predict portfolio outperformance using technologies like machine learning.
    • You will report to the CIO and Head of Investments

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the annual investment strategy effort to set the plan for the year
    • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks
    • Research potential investments and perform due diligence to assess their potential returns and risks.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the coverage region through on-the-ground research, and by cultivating a strategic network in the coverage countries.
    • Identify opportunistic or tactical plays as they arise based on sound market intelligence grounded in a credible strategic outlook.
    • Closely monitor and work with our trading and operations teams to ensure we obtain value for all our transactions, entitlements and corporate actions
    • Identify drivers of return by analyzing the predictive powers of different datasets and data combinations using advanced statistical tools and technological methods.
    • Build quantitative factor models along with other team members that help predict and forecast market performance.
    • Develop a detailed understanding of portfolio analytics and apply the knowledge to security selection and risk management of our funds.
    • Communicate with the Wealth Advisors and Investment Consultants about the fund and ensure they remain up to date on fund performance and fund strategy
    • Prepare and maintain investment strategy pitch books and product sheets for products under your management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Hard Sciences or Engineering.
    • Minimum 6 years’ experience in research, fund management, investment banking or investment management with a top global or top 10 local investment firm; Institutional experience at an investment firm preferred.
    • Experience in macroeconomic research & fund management; interested in and follows global markets.
    • Must have a CFA certification or is in the process of acquiring one
    • Strong knowledge of the Securities Industry, Product and Portfolio Management
    • Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Advanced financial analysis and modelling
    • Deep knowledge of research methods, portfolio management and financial analysis
    • Investment- Investment and credit risk understanding.

    Must have skills:

    • Advanced excel skills and PowerPoint skills
    • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and project management skills
    • Strong strategy building skills and data analytics
    • Bloomberg familiarity

    Associate - Finance & Operations

    Job Summary

    • Our client is looking to hire an Associate, Finance & Operations who will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s financial and operational functions.
    • This includes preparing financial reports, asset and liability tracking, regulatory compliance, tax filing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
    • The role also involves supporting the organization’s corporate actions, partner payments, financial planning, and annual audits.
    • By ensuring accurate and efficient processes, the Associate will help drive financial health, operational excellence, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

    Responsibilities
    Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, including asset reporting and portfolio liability reporting, in line with internal and external requirements.
    • Track and report on key metrics, including financial health, operational efficiency, and budget utilization.
    • Develop and execute reports for regulatory compliance, ensuring timely submission and adherence to financial regulations.
    • Support tax filing processes and ensure accurate documentation for regulatory bodies.
    • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful completion of the annual external audit process.

    Regulatory & Compliance Management:

    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, tax filing, and corporate actions.
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation on policies and processes for audits and compliance checks.

    Payment & Corporate Action Management:

    • Oversee payment processes, ensuring timely disbursement and accurate reconciliation of all transactions.
    • Manage corporate actions such as dividends, share buybacks, and other related activities.
    • Process partner commission payments and ensure all financial obligations are met within agreed timelines.
    • Perform interest expense reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial statements.

    Reconciliation, Financial Control & Bookkeeping:

    • Support with Bookkeeping, reviews and daily reconciliation of financial transactions to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
    • Perform subsidiary reconciliation and monthly balance reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
    • Maintain a robust internal control framework to minimize financial risks.

    Financial Planning & Budgeting:

    • With the oversight of the FC, lead the development of annual financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Monitor budget execution and provide regular updates on variances and opportunities for cost optimization.
    • Collaborate with team leads to review budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
    • Support procurement, logistics, and vendor relationship management to ensure cost-effective operations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA is strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, finance operations management, or a similar role.
    • Demonstrated experience with financial assets/liabilities reporting, tax & regulatory compliance, budgeting, and reconciliation processes.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Infoware, QuickBooks, etc).
    • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, regulatory reporting, and audit requirements.

    Must Have Skills:

    • Proactive problem-solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
