We are in need of Professors in the following areas of specialty:
- Chemical Pathology
- Medical Microbiology
- Pathology (Morbid Anatomy / Anatomic Pathology / Histopathology)
- Haematology
- Medicine
- Surgery
- Community Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must have been a Reader or Associate Professor for at least three (3) years and possess MBBS, MD and FWACP, FWACS, FNMCM, FNMCGP FNMCS, FMC Path or equivalent qualifications from the United States of America, United Kingdom or Europe, with at least ten (10) years University teaching and research experience in the relevant discipline
- A Ph.D Degree will be an added advantage
- Applicant must also have good record of scholarly publications of at least twenty (20) journal papers of which six must be published offshore plus four (4) referred proceedings
- In addition, applicant must also have adequate administrative experience
- A qualification in Medical Education will be an asset.
