    Production Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Production Supervisor with a strong background in furniture manufacturing. 
    • This role is not for entry-level candidates — only individuals with proven, hands-on experience in furniture production will be considered.As the Production Supervisor, your main responsibility is to oversee the daily operations within the furniture production department. 
    • You will be in charge of coordinating and managing the production process in line with the company procedure. 
    • You will ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and meet the company's quality standards.
    • Additionally, you will work alongside our team to lead the production team, maintaining a clean and organized factory, and ensuring that all safety and operational protocols are adhered to.
    • The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva is required, along with good communication and teamwork skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate daily furniture production activities, ensuring quality and efficiency.
    • Lead and motivate production workers to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards..
    • Overseeing production processes to ensure all furniture meets company standards before dispatch.
    • Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve production issues to avoid delays or defects.
    • Must be commercially minded at all times, considering the impact of cost, quality, and time on production decisions.
    • Ensure that the factory floor is kept clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a clutter-free, safe work environment.
    • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva to prepare production reports, schedules, and visual presentations.

    Requirements

    • Applicants must be living within Choba, Nta, Ada-George, Rumuola, or New GRA for a convenient commute.
    • Proven experience in furniture manufacturing is required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
    • Knowledge of furniture production processes and materials.
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new production methods and technologies.
    • Ability to work under pressure and effectivelycommunicatewith all team members and departments
    • Experience in a Supervisory Role (preferably in manufacturing or furniture production) is a plus.
    • Must bea good listener, positve personality, able to work asa team andstrong ablilityto follow clear instructions.

    Pick-up Truck Driver

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and reliable Driver to join our team.
    • In this role, you will be a key part of our operations, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of furniture while also handling the pickup of essential production materials, tools, and supplies needed for manufacturing.
    • The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges on the road, and quick decision-making abilities to ensure smooth logistics and timely deliveries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely transport finished furniture to selling outlets and customers.
    • Pick up raw materials and supplies from vendors.
    • Ensure proper handling and secure loading of items to prevent damage.
    • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the pickup van.
    • Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and delivery details.
    • Comply with road safety regulations and company policies.
    • Assist with minor warehouse or logistics tasks when required.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 years of experience
    • Must be living within Nta or Ada-George, Port Harcourt
    • Must have Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Experience driving a manual transmission pickup van.
    • Strong knowledge of Port Harcourt road safety rules and traffic regulations.
    • Physically fit and capable of handling furniture safely.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
