Work hand in hand with the Head- Production to ensure the proper interplay/ management and effective planning of labour, materials, machines and time; also effective utililization of shop floor to achieve production requirements.
Ensure the effective and efficient coordination of production operations to meet and deliver volume targets by due dates meeting specific quality standards as required by sales /marketing plans at all times
Ensure and maintain a high level hygiene in the factory(GMP)
Ensure that the general working environment is harmonious, conducive and
accident free
Work hand in hand with the Head-Production to provide the necessary support to subordinates in order to function effectively and efficiently
Ensure factory overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of minimum 85% on monthly basis
Ensure a maximum factory flexible waste level of 2.0% and 1.5% of powder tolerance level on monthly basis
Ensure 100% actual Vs. planned production on all pack sizes and product line
Ensure that safety infrastructure (personal, work environment, machines etc )in place are used and adhere to strictly.
To manage the factory functions of NPD, PMO, Packaging and margin Improvement activities within organisation
Preparation of monthly reconciliation report
Periodic review of all production manuals for all factories as the need arises
Ensures compliance with FSMS related activities in the department
Coaching of subordinates to success and performance improvement
General administration (e.g. HR functions / BPMS ,keeping attendance record etc for the dept.)
Perform all safety tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Prepare, analyse and report monthly interest cost and bank charges
Develop cashflow analysis report for payment and receivables
Validate bank entries in the statement of account
Verify local and offshore bank charges in line with term sheet
Develop metrics for analysis of banks performance in overdraft and IFF facility, bank fees and commission, FX sourcing and collections supports.
Monitor adherence to the financial and accounting control procedures
Preparation of adhoc report for management use, including building business cases, scenarios, simulations and sensitivity analysis for informed decision making
Provide recommendations based on report for management decision
Review of monthly schedule of interest provision on long- and short-term loans for accuracy of postings in the ledger
Submission of daily, weekly and monthly provision of comprehensive and detailed treasury activities reports to the Manager
Ensure integrity of accounting entries in the company’s records
Carryout in a timely manner, other responsibility assigned by the Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Banking and Finance Economics or any related discipline
Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage
ACA, MBA
Minimum of 3 years working experience in financial accounting or treasury Analyst role in a structured organisation
