    Product Manager (Home & Office Appliances)

    Job Profile: 

    • This job entails planning, coordinating, implementing and overseeing the sales strategies to boost business performance, across the Home & Office Appliances Product Category.
    • The key role is to develop category strategies, in line with the organizational Product strategies, while monitoring its implementation, and ensuring category growth and profitability.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Develop the Home & Office Appliance Product Category strategy, to ensure the Product Categories Target are met in line with the organizational Product strategies
    • Liaise with all Sales Channels to propose and evaluate category-centric sales and advertising activities, across Offline and Online sales channels.
    • Monitor category-specific business performance, traffic and user trends to generate actionable category assortment insights.
    • Conduct market surveys to provide customer-focused insights, to help advise category assortment strategy for wholesale, retail and E-Commerce platforms, using consumer demand signals, external data, pattern recognition and industry expertise.
    • Catalyze cross functional teams (marketing, sales and operations) to act on these insights and deliver business impact.
    • Propose new assortment additions, pricing, promotions and exclusivity to deliver a best-in-class category assortment.
    • Create category-specific assortment plan for key seasonal moments and drive implementation with the marketing, inventory and sales team.
    • Facilitate partnerships, onboarding and upscaling new merchants by providing seller & category-specific insights. Own relationship with existent onboarded sellers and Key Accounts.
    • Create sell-out strategies for slow-moving products, while monitoring inventory ageing and replenishment patterns
    • Leverage all Point of Sales, Ecommerce, Distribution, Corporate and Retail data to develop deep understanding of the quickly moving and evolving category dynamics. Interpret data to deliver objective category insights, analysis, and thoughts that offers disruptive category growing opportunities.
    • Have a comprehensive understanding of category landscape to help identify and drive strategic sales opportunities and customer growth objectives
    • Advice merchandising team on offers for B2B and B2C integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers.
    • Be responsible for category-specific consumer experience.
    • Partner with operations team to translate customer insights into strategies which drive performance.
    • Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising.

    Commercial Planner - Category Management (ICT & Lifestyle Products)

    Job Description

    • As the Commercial Planner-Category Management, you are responsible to play a vital role in driving Product growth and profitability through effective commercial strategies and operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Expand the use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate sales goals and objectives
    • Monthly review of the category performance against Target
    • Lead the development of preparing category management plans and presentations for key customers using multiple data sources, and present findings to appropriate teams/customers in support of business plan.
    • Strategize on ways to improve and develop the under-developed brands while expanding the already developed brands
    • Assist in driving category development principles with key customers to differentiate our client from competition to attain increased distribution, space and display resulting in increased sales and profit.
    • Analyze and interpret information in order to identify opportunities and enhance category performance, incorporating all streams of Sales channels to the business objectives.
    • Provide product trainings to sales-related channels, viz-a-viz: B2B, B2C, Retail stores, and other sales units.
    • Manage key brands amongst others.
    • Act in the capacity of a Business Development Management by developing New Brands
    • Develop and manage product Categories
    • Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
    • Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
    • Create and present strategic insights for the Business unit to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization
    • Maintain the P&L and develop annual and quarterly category strategic plans by conducting financial analysis of the business.
    • Manage the entire physical product lifecycle, from strategic activities to tactical implementation, including product portfolio idea generation.
    • Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
    • Manage inventory and effectively planning and forecasting in order to maximize the profitability of the inventory flow. Balancing projected forecasts and actual sales.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure effective execution of commercial plans.
    • Deliver Month on Month sales growth for the Company in line with agreed Budgets and strategy.
