Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site position for a Procurement Officer based in Ibadan.
• The Procurement Officer will handle purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders, managing procurement operations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Responsibilities include vendor sourcing, negotiation of contracts, maintaining procurement records, analyzing purchasing trends, and developing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• The role will also require adherence to institutional policies and procedures to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Procurement and Purchasing processes
• Skilled in creating and managing Purchase Orders and vendor relationships
• Experience in Contract Negotiation
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate supplier performance and optimize operations
• Attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under on-site, fast-paced conditions in Ibadan
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in procurement or a related role is advantageous
