    Process Operator - Iganmu

    PURPOSE ​

     Carry out effective operations of the process lines in order to achieve targeted production outputs of pasta products while guaranteeing standard quality with minimum downtimes.

    THE JOB

    • Carry out effective operations of the process lines in order to produce standard quality products. This involves compliance with standard SOPs on start-ups, operations and shut downs of all process lines.
    • Carry out effective process control by constantly monitoring process variables against set points. Maintain FIFO basis in processing raw materials received for the process lines.
    • Receive instruction from the shift supervisors in respect of production schedule and planned maintenance.
    • Follow up on all outstanding process issues from previous shifts and ensure prompt resolution of same especially as regards downtimes and machine breakdown by liaising with the maintenance crew.
    • Ensure that the process lines and all accessories are kept in a reasonable state of repairs and cleanliness through compliance with world class manufacturing practices.

    THE PERSON MUST HAVE

    • Have a good understanding of industrial process operations and equipment functioning.
    • Be able to monitor, control, and adjust process parameters to ensure efficient and safe production.
    • Possess strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills to detect and resolve process deviations.
    • Demonstrate adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.

    Electrician - Iganmu

    PURPOSE ​

    Carry out electrical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keep the plant running at optimum capacity.

    THE JOB

    • Repair faulty production machines and equipment in the entire noodles plant and any other area/task that mighty be assigned to you by the superior officer.
    • Carry out any job allocated and respond quickly to machine breakdown reported through job order from user department.
    • Carry out planned preventive maintenance within time scheduled using checklist.
    • Write report on work done in the logbook and in the work order.
    • Take and record daily power consumption reading and other reading in the sub-station.
    • Take responsibility for personal safety and safety of others when carrying out any assignment/task.
    • Use correctly all personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and obey all safety rules as it affects every task to be done from time to time.

    THE PERSON MUST HAVE

    • Have solid knowledge of electrical systems, industrial wiring, motors, and control panels.
    • Be skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrate ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

    PURPOSE ​

    Carry out mechanical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keep the machineries running and perform at optimum capacity.

    THE JOB

    • Repair production machines and equipment in the entire noodles plant and any other area/task that mighty be assigned to you by the superior officer.
    • Work efficiently and effectively to Minimize downtime during repairs.
    • Report any malfunction or damage items to the superior.
    • Keep proper record of time taken for job completion, spare parts replaced and report observations in the log book and the work order

    • Carry out Planned preventive maintenance according to schedule using checklist/work order.
    • Take responsibility for personal safety and that of others when carrying out any assignment.
    • Use correct personal protective equipment (PPE) and obey all safety rules as it affects every task to be done from time to time.

    THE PERSON MUST HAVE

    • Have strong knowledge of mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly of industrial machinery and components.
    • Be skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.

    Maintenance Planner - Iganmu

    PURPOSE ​

    To manage all maintenance planning activities and in turn improve productivity, asset reliability and effective integration of Man, Machines, Methods and Money.

    THE JOB

    • Develop, maintain, and improve continuously preventive maintenance plan to maximize equipment reliability.
    • Ensure 100% PM Compliance and carry out PM Optimization (PMO).
    • Plan parts, materials, and labor for short- and long-term preventative maintenance to maximize technician wrench time, improve efficiency, increase system reliability and performance.
    • Configure and drive CMMS/EAM usage with the OEM recommendation and ensure its user friendly.

    Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer - Iganmu

    PURPOSE ​

    To support FMN PLC’s commitment to improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance by implementing HSE objectives, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, and promoting a safe working environment through proactive risk management and employee engagement.

    THE JOB

    • Implement and communicate HSE management systems in line with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
    • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and escalate potential hazards, fire risks, and unsafe conditions.
    • Ensure all safety and environmental equipment are functional, properly maintained, and adequately stocked
    • Supervise solid and general waste disposal activities to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
    • Monitor factory operations to ensure proper use of PPE and correct deviations.
    • Coordinate pest control activities within the facility.
    • Promote HSE awareness through toolbox talks, pep talks, and employee counseling.
