    Principal PACO Engineer

    Description

    • Provide PACO (Process Automation Control & Optimization) discipline engineering support and technical authority to HA & HB-Buko projects during design, Construction and CSU phases.
    • The HA & HB-Buko projects aim to provide circa 350-450 MMscf/d of gas to the NLNG Train-7 from 2029+, as well as 25-30 kb/d of oil and condensate for export. The projects’ projected gas supply constitutes circa 25% of the overall supply to the NLNG Train-7.
    • The HA project completed FEED in Apr-25 and is now completing the tendering phase of the project contracts. While the HB-Buko project has initiated FEED in Q2-26. Current plan is for a joint HA/HB-Buko FID by end of Q1-27. Given the strategic importance of both projects to the NLNG Train 7, and to derisk the project execution schedule to protect the First Gas Date, a full integration and optimization of HA & HB-Buko has been endorsed by the JV partners to improve the business case and to accelerate further optimizations of the projects.
    • The work will be carried out in accordance with the mandatory Project and the selected engineering standards, but there are many aspects of the job (e.g. contractor management, deviations from Renaissance Technical Standards) that require a high level of judgment and interpretation. The role requires effective interfaces with specialist support from within the wider Shell Group. The role specifically focuses on support to design, construction and commissioning, including supporting the Flawless Project Delivery Plan, interaction with System/equipment.
    • The ideal candidate shall ensure Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements are fully captured in the design and re-design is minimized or avoided in later project phases.
    • She/he shall also ensure the facility is in synergy with and adequately integrated with smart field, and in line with WRFM requirements

    Responsibilities

    • May lead/manage multiple engineers – Renaissance PACO engineers and 3rd party contractors – in the PACO scope of work related to the design, fabrication, and installation and commissioning.
    • Provide technical support to aid Project interface with internal and external stakeholders – Asset team, Engineering Design Contractors, JV partners and Regulatory agencies and contributes to the resolution of technical interface issues between disciplines
    • Ensure that all the design decisions are in line with all relevant group standards and blueprint - project management, Design engineering manuals and HSE
    • Deliver the full benefits and functionalities of PACO technologies aligned to exceeding the spirit of current operation and maintenance philosophy

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum of 14 years’ experience in Process Automation Control & Optimization within the Oil and Gas industry
    • Experience with offshore platforms, FPSOs, or onshore terminals is desirable.
    • Knowledge of HSSE framework and International engineering standards, best practices, and systems.
    •  Experience in plant Automation, process control & safeguarding and system integration, including 3rd party packages
    •  Experienced in managing MAC especially Emerson Delta V system (chosen project MAC).
    • Experience in managing pre-commissioning and commissioning of a variety of PLC, DCS and SIS; design reviews, FAT, iFAT and SAT for 3rd party Vendor packages such as Gas Turbines, Compressors, metering package and system integration
    •  Experience in the specification, design and integration of telecommunications systems
    • Strong technical foundation with the ability to work independently, as well as challenge and support others
    • Good working knowledge of a broad range of electrical/electronic engineering systems and tools and understanding of the EP business and other discipline needs.

    • Production and checking of design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, equipment specifications etc. 
    • Provide support for preliminary pipeline routing assessments considering all interfaces, functional requirements, manmade and geo hazards using results from geotechnical and geophysical (G&G) survey. 
    • Coordinate pipeline engineering support to the execution of multidiscipline projects in line with defined budget and schedule. 
    • Liaise with associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project. 
    • Provide pipeline engineering assistance during occasional periods of offshore or site works. 
    • Supervise Pipeline Engineers and support in Quality Assurance/Quality Control of FEED and detailed design deliverables. 
    • Train / mentor junior and graduate engineers.

    • Promote zero accident, zero incident culture through inherently safe design meeting all regulatory requirements, and applicable industry codes and standards. 
    • Manages the relation with multiple (groups of) internal and external stakeholders on tactical/strategic level and manages opposite interests.     Requirements

    Corrosion and Inspection Engineer

    Job Purpose

    • The Corrosion and Inspection Engineer provides a wide range of professional specialist maintenance inspection services on Renaissance assets through the Principal M&C Engr/TA2.
    • This position supports the delivery of maintenance standards, policies, processes, and strategies, as well as maintenance discipline services for Pressurized Static Equipment Integrity.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop optimum technical inspection strategies for Pressure Equipment Integrity (PEI), including corrosion management framework development, critical/high-risk PEI equipment, Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) deployment, and supervise implementation
    • Review policies, systems, strategies, standards, guidelines, and procedures governing inspection maintenance activities within the company
    • Challenge existing prescriptive static inspection programs and develop optimized programs using RBI techniques for Renaissance assets
    • Prepare long and short-term static facilities maintenance inspection programs for Renaissance assets' pressure equipment, including tanks, vessels, air receivers, flowlines, relief valves, heaters, heat exchangers, and lifting equipment, in accordance with statutory regulations and Risk-Based Inspection
    • Monitor the implementation of static facilities inspection, flowline inspection, fabric maintenance, and review compliance with regulations, relevant codes, and standards, ensuring best practices during implementation
    • Deliver effective specialist inspection maintenance support to the Renaissance asset team
    • Develop and provide disciplinary input to statutory inspection specialist contracts where required and ensure that contracts remain within budget for Renaissance assets
    • Collate and analyze all technical and analytical inspection findings, provide advice to the asset on integrity status, and recommend improvement actions
    • Review static equipment inspection-related analysis for determination, measurement, and reporting of maintenance KPIs that drive the achievement of company business objectives
    • Perform Technical Authority 3 (TA3) Inspection functions for Renaissance Operating Assets
    • Participate in all Maintenance Engineering and Technical Assurance (META) organization’s HSSE program

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Engineering or the Sciences (B.Sc., B.Eng.) or other related discipline
    • Professional certification in corrosion or inspection-related bodies such as API, AMPP, ANST, etc. is an added advantage
    • Minimum 9 years’ experience in Maintenance, Inspection, and Integrity Engineering, including supervisory responsibilities
    • Knowledge of production operations and static/pressure equipment integrity and corrosion management strategies
    • Experience managing contracts and demonstrating HSSE leadership in technical operations
    • Experience supporting production assets through design reviews, commissioning, audits, and regulatory compliance

    Civil Engineer

    Job Purpose

    • The Senior Civil/Structural Asset Engineer is an HSE-critical technical role responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safe performance of all civil and structural assets across Renaissance production facilities.
    • The role oversees integrity assessments, defect management, civil maintenance execution, and engineering design support, ensuring compliance with technical, operational, and regulatory standards.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong civil/structural engineering design capability, proven asset integrity experience, and solid understanding of risk management in oil and gas environments.
    • The position requires excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills to interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

    Responsibilities
    Technical & Integrity Management:

    • Provide strong HSSE leadership during civil/structural engineering, inspection, and maintenance activities
    • Lead structural integrity assessments including condition surveys, defect investigations, load evaluation, and life-extension studies
    • Conduct or review Technical Integrity Verifications (TIVs) and hardware barrier assessments for Civil Safety Critical Equipment (SCE)

    Job Purpose

    • Prepare long and short-term static facilities maintenance inspection programs for Renaissance assets' pressure equipment, including tanks, vessels, air receivers, flowlines, relief valves, heaters, heat exchangers, and lifting equipment, in accordance with statutory regulations and Risk-Based Inspection
    • Monitor the implementation of static facilities inspection, flowline inspection, fabric maintenance, and review compliance with regulations, relevant codes, and standards, ensuring best practices during implementation
    • Deliver effective specialist inspection maintenance support to the Renaissance asset team
    • Develop and provide disciplinary input to statutory inspection specialist contracts where required and ensure that contracts remain within budget for Renaissance assets
    • Collate and analyze all technical and analytical inspection findings, provide advice to the asset on integrity status, and recommend improvement actions
    • Review static equipment inspection-related analysis for determination, measurement, and reporting of maintenance KPIs that drive the achievement of company business objectives
    • Perform Technical Authority 3 (TA3) Inspection functions for Renaissance Operating Assets
    • Participate in all Maintenance Engineering and Technical Assurance (META) organization’s HSSE program

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Engineering or the Sciences (B.Sc., B.Eng.) or other related discipline
    • Professional certification in corrosion or inspection-related bodies such as API, AMPP, ANST, etc. is an added advantage
    • Minimum 9 years’ experience in Maintenance, Inspection, and Integrity Engineering, including supervisory responsibilities
    • Knowledge of production operations and static/pressure equipment integrity and corrosion management strategies

    Civil Engineer

    Job Purpose

    • The Senior Civil/Structural Asset Engineer is an HSE-critical technical role responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safe performance of all civil and structural assets across Renaissance production facilities.
    • The role oversees integrity assessments, defect management, civil maintenance execution, and engineering design support, ensuring compliance with technical, operational, and regulatory standards.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong civil/structural engineering design capability, proven asset integrity experience, and solid understanding of risk management in oil and gas environments.
    • The position requires excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills to interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

    Responsibilities
    Technical & Integrity Management:

    • Provide strong HSSE leadership during civil/structural engineering, inspection, and maintenance activities
    • Lead structural integrity assessments including condition surveys, defect investigations, load evaluation, and life-extension studies
    • Conduct or review Technical Integrity Verifications (TIVs) and hardware barrier assessments for Civil Safety Critical Equipment (SCE)
    • Apply risk-based methodologies to identify, evaluate, and mitigate structural integrity threats in oil and gas facilities

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the Principal Electrical Engineer and manage electrical engineering activities across all oil and gas projects and facilities in HA & HB-Buko Projects, including design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems.

    Principal Offshore Structural Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The position involves provision of technical input & assurance throughout the project lifecycle including Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning stages, to safeguard design, technical and operational integrity.

    • Supervision and quality assurance of fabrication and site construction works.
    •  Drive innovative solutions to achieve economic performance requirements throughout facilities lifecycle. Drive for increase in cost efficiency and reductions in project costs.
    • Manage multiple technical and non-technical interfaces and stakeholders
    • Manage technical risk by thorough understanding of relevant standards and expert review of deviations to Standards. Liaise with the Discipline Lead on all standards deviation matters.

    Requirements

    • Experience with offshore platforms, FPSOs, or onshore terminals is desirable.
    • Knowledge of HSSE framework and International engineering standards, best practices, and systems.
    • A good understanding of practices, standards and technologies relating to Oil and Gas facilities.
    • Demonstrable record of successfully delivering structural engineering solutions for new projects and existing assets integrity.
