Role Summary:

As a Physical/Occupational Therapist at PrimeCare Hospital, you will work with patients to improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and restore or enhance their physical function and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of patients’ physical and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Provide manual therapy techniques, such as massage, joint mobilization, and stretching, to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Teach patients and their caregivers safe techniques for activities of daily living (ADLs) and assistive devices to promote independence.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to coordinate patient care and referrals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid license to practice as a physical therapist or occupational therapist in Nigeria.
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
