    Pharmacist: Deputy

    Job Function

    • This role involves being responsible for the quality oversight of operations, including Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, in the Distribution Centre (DC). This includes ensuring consistency with adherence to regulatory standards and alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of quality control measures, monitoring HSE practices, and ensuring that operational activities within the DC comply with relevant regulations.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Oversees the registration, continued renewal, and maintenance of annual premises licence of the Pharma warehouse.
    • Ensures the compliance and monitoring of all operational staff with GWP, GSP and agreed clients’ SOPs.
    • Drives the quality culture of the DC as it pertains receipt, storage, dispatch, and distribution of all products in the DC.
    • Prepares and forwards to the line managers relevant Monthly Reports based on agreed format.
    • Ensures efficient service delivery to customers and prompt resolution of quality complaints (within 24 hours).
    • Ensures immediate escalation of quality complaints beyond resolution after 24 hours to clients or line managers as applicable.
    • Ensure products are stored within the right temperature range, monitor and report.
    • Ensures 100% accuracy of batch and shelf-life management of all product categories.
    • Support the maintenance/management of DC operational and quality assets such as security system installations, air cooling systems, generators, MHEs etc.
    • Ensures these assets above are serviced as at when due.
    • Shall promote a culture of safety and align with MDS HSEQ policy and guidelines.

    Qualifications Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm.) or any related field.
    • Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
    • Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

    Experience and Skills Required

    • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in supply chain quality management system.
    • Sound understanding of HSE, Quality and Regulatory management systems.
    • Experience with Regulatory Agencies such as PCN and NAFDAC.
    • WMS experience (SAP and related software).
    • Cold chain storage management.

    Finance Director

    Job Function

    • As part of delivering on our vision of ensuring quality healthcare is available to patients across Nigeria, we are now seeking commercially astute, inspirational leader to build on our current market leadership position and drive our in-country Healthcare business to further Financial sustainable growth while enhancing the value delivered to principals and customers through our service offerings.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Provide commercial support to the Managing director on all operations matters
    • Provide leadership to the local Finance, Audit & Tax teams
    • Coordinate with Group CFO, Eco Health to achieve Group objectives
    • Monthly analysis of the financial performance of the operating company compared to budget expectations and prior financial periods.
    • Manage the financial position of the operating company with the objective of maximizing profitability and return on invested capital.
    • Ensure compliance to the Limits of Authority.
    • Ensure accurate and timeous financial reporting to the operating company executive committee and other stakeholders in the group.
    • Provide guidance to executives in the operating company to ensure strategic and financial reporting objectives are met.
    • Oversee drafting of annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards
    • Quarterly reporting of internal controls.
    • Internal management packs and dashboards.
    • Tax administration and compliance including submission of relevant returns to revenue authorities.
    • Co-ordinate and assist with the internal and external audit process.
    • Identifying and managing risk (financial and non-financial) throughout the operating company along with Eco Health / DPW SSA s risk department
    • Responsible for ensuring that efficient internal controls are implemented and maintained throughout the operating company.
    • Provide ad-hoc projects and reports as required.
    • Manage overall financial functions.
    • Manage cash flow proactively to ensure operating company and group objectives are achieved.

    Qualifications Required

    • Relevant bachelor`s degree as a minimum.
    • Business related / Finance postgraduate qualification is preferred.
    • Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Nigeria or any equivalent globally recognized Chartered Accountant qualification.

    Experience and Skills Required

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar environment, leading a Finance function in a global Healthcare / Supply Chain Multinational.
    • Demonstrated success in solution development at a country level.
