    Pharmacist

    Job Summary:

    Full-Time Pharmacist will prescribe drugs, counsel and provide information to patients about medications and their use.

    Hour Requirement: 8am -10pm (Day on/Day off)

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
    • Informing customers of any potential side effects.
    • Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
    • Providing medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
    • Providing other health advice, such as guidance on stopping smoking.
    • Ensuring a safe, organized and clean pharmacy environment.
    • Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
    • Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practices.
    • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and industry trends.
    • Performing other administrative tasks when needed.

    Pharmacologist

    Job Summary:

    Pharmacologist expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ensuring that medication management is safe and effective.

    Hour Requirement: 8am -10pm (Day on/Day off)

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough reviews of prescription orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
    • Provide comprehensive drug information to walk-in clients, including dosages, proper usage, and potential side effects.
    • Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy policies and protocols related to medication management.
    • Monitor the client’s responses to prescribed medications and recommend adjustments as necessary.
    • Participate in training and supervising pharmacy support staff to ensure compliance with best practices and safety standards.
    • Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing and client interactions.
    • Stay current with developments in pharmacology and healthcare regulations.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent communication skills with an ability to provide clear patient education.
    • Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records.
    • Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
    • Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacology or a related field.
    • Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
    • Valid and up-to-date Pharmacologist license from the appropriate regulatory body in Nigeria.

    Accountant

    Job Summary:

    Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information

    Hour Requirement: 8am -6pm (Monday - Saturday)

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
    • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
    • Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices
    • Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations
    • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
    • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
    • Assist with other accounting projects
    • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
    • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
    • Organization skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
    • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.
    • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
    • Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
    • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting or related discipline from any recognized institution
    • 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
    • Qualifications (ACCA or ICAN) certified is a plus but not required
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

    Auditor

    Job Summary:

    Internal Auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

    Hour Requirement: 8am -6pm (Monday – Saturday(9am-2pm))

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity. Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans.
    • Identify loopholes, correct/realign, and recommend a structured/cost-saving measures.
    • Participates in market survey and cheaper ways of sourcing for key materials.
    • Generation and submission of daily/weekly/monthly operational report.
    • Participate in investigations, inspections, and stock count functions. Overview of weekly budget, reconciliation, and valuation retirement of purchases (vendor supplies, open market purchase).
    • Responsible for all pre - and post - payment audit in all areas. Performs continuous accuracy checks on departmental process flow and documentation.
    • Implement audit strategies/programmes for preventing and detecting fraud/wastage (Wastage management audit).
    • Verifies assets and liability by comparing items to documentation.
    • Perform financial audit and reporting.
    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
    • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software.
    • Organization skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
    • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.

    Education and Experience:

    • One to two years working experience as Internal Auditor 
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
    • Sound independent judgement
    • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
