    Partnership Alliance Director

    Role Overview

    • As the Partnership Alliance Director at Mottainai Recycling, you will be at the forefront of our sustainability journey, steering the course towards impactful change.
    • Your primary responsibility will be to establish and cultivate collaborations with a diverse range of external stakeholders, including governmental bodies, non-profit organizations, industry associations, and other key partners.
    • Through skillful management of these partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in the realization of Mottainai Recycling's sustainability objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that resonates with Mottainai Recycling's sustainability vision.
    • Identify, assess, and select potential partners, nurturing relationships to advance the company's mission and goals.
    • Lead negotiations to finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and adherence to our corporate values.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align partnership initiatives with various departments such as operations, marketing, and finance.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of partnerships, regularly reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Foster engagement in sustainability-focused events, conferences, and industry forums to stay at the forefront of industry trends
    • Keep abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and developments in sustainability and waste management.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • A proven track record (7+ years) in partnership development, alliance management, or a related role, ideally within the sustainability or waste management sector.
    • Deep understanding of sustainable waste management practices, circular economy principles, and environmental regulations.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.
    • Strategic thinker capable of identifying partnership opportunities aligned with Mottainai Recycling's vision.
    • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities, guided by a results-oriented mindset.
    • Proficiency in analyzing partnership performance metrics and translating data into actionable insights
    • Strong ability to foster collaboration and cultivate relationships at all organizational levels and externally.
    • Passion for sustainability and a deep commitment to driving positive environmental impact.

    • Lead and manage our recycling company, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with sustainability objectives.
    • Oversee the development and execution of consulting services in the field of sustainability, driving client engagement and growth.

    • Sharp analytical abilities to interpret environmental data and guide informed decision-making.
    • Outstanding communication skills, adept at conveying intricate sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Familiarity with environmental impact assessment tools and sustainability reporting frameworks, particularly GRI standards.
    • Collaborative spirit, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and driving transformative change across the organization.
    • A fervent passion for environmental sustainability and a resolute drive to inspire eco-friendly practices
    • Prior experience working within corporate sustainability contexts and a nuanced understanding of partnership dynamics.
