Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's comprehensive sustainability strategy, encompassing both short-term and long-term goals.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to infuse sustainability practices into daily operations, supply chain management, and product development.
• Lead and manage our recycling company, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with sustainability objectives.
• Oversee the development and execution of consulting services in the field of sustainability, driving client engagement and growth.
• Craft comprehensive sustainability reports, adhering to GRI standards, to transparently communicate our progress and impact.
• Spearhead community-led initiatives, engaging stakeholders and fostering partnerships that amplify our sustainability goals.
• Conduct periodic assessments of our environmental footprint, offering data-driven insights and suggesting improvement strategies.
• Ensure adherence to pertinent environmental regulations and industry benchmarks, maintaining our commitment to ethical practices.
• Identify, initiate, and oversee initiatives aimed at waste reduction, resource optimization, and energy efficiency.
• Regularly monitor and report on sustainability metrics, highlighting progress and areas for enhancement.
• Lead internal training programs and awareness initiatives, inspiring employees at all levels to embrace sustainability.
• Stay informed about advancements in sustainable technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends to continually elevate our efforts.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in sustainability management, environmental compliance, or a related role, ideally within the waste management or related industry
• Profound knowledge of sustainable business practices, circular economy principles, and environmental regulations.
• Exceptional project management acumen, enabling you to effectively prioritize and execute multiple initiatives
• Sharp analytical abilities to interpret environmental data and guide informed decision-making.
• Outstanding communication skills, adept at conveying intricate sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessment tools and sustainability reporting frameworks, particularly GRI standards.
