    OSP Pulling Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are hiring a skilled and reliable OSP Pulling Supervisor to oversee all fiber cable pulling activities on our customer FTTH rollout project in Ibadan, Nigeria.
    • The ideal candidate will coordinate field teams and subcontractors, ensure safe and efficient pulling operations, and guarantee the integrity of fiber cables throughout the deployment process.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead the fiber cable pulling teams during aerial / underground installation.
    • Ensure compliance with pulling standards, bend radius, and maximum tension for fiber cables.
    • Verify ducts and routes before pulling to prevent blockages or damage to the cables.
    • Coordinate with civil and splicing team for scheduling and workflow alignment.
    • Manage on-site materials and tools: drum stand, rollers, measuring tapes, etc.
    • Monitor daily progress and report to the OSP Manager with updates and challenges.
    • Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.
    • Support training and orientation of new pulling team members.
    • Maintain accurate records of cable lengths, routes, and pulling logs.

    Requirements

    • Technical diploma or relevant qualification in telecommunications or engineering.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in fiber optic cable pulling, preferably in FTTH projects.
    • Strong understanding of aerial and underground fiber deployment practices.
    • Ability to lead a team and manage subcontractor performance in the field.
    • Familiar with basic test tools and route documentation.
    • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments daily.
    • Experience working in Ibadan or similar terrain is a plus.
    • Good communication and basic reporting skills.

    ISP Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced ISP Manager to lead and coordinate all in-premises customer installation activities for our customer FTTH project in Ibadan, Nigeria.
    • This role involves overseeing aerial last-mile connections, managing ISP technicians, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high technical standards during customer installation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and coordinate daily ISP installation activities including aerial drop cable routing, ONU/ONT installation, and indoor wiring.
    • Supervise ISP technicians and ensure proper scheduling, productivity, and service quality.
    • Ensure all installations meet customer technical standards, safety regulations, and customer satisfaction expectations.
    • Oversee installation tools, materials, inventory, and logistics.
    • Validate installation readiness (signal level, splicing, labeling, connectivity testing).
    • Monitor installation KPIs: daily output, failure rates, revisit cases, customer complaints.
    • Train and onboard new ISP technicians and ensure adherence to GVA standards.
    • Prepare daily/weekly reports on ISP activities, challenges, and improvement actions.

    Requirements

    • Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
    • 4 - 5 years of experience in FTTH/GPON customer installations, including aerial works.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing field technicians.
    • Familiarity with customer premises equipment (ONTs, routers) and signal testing.
    • Ability to troubleshoot fiber connectivity issues and ensure clean documentation.
    • Good understanding of safety practices for aerial work and in-home installations.
    • Experience working with tools like OTDR, power meter, ladders, drills, and testers.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
    • Willingness to be field-based and familiar with the Ibadan area is a strong asset.

    OSP Fiber Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced OSP Fiber Manager to lead the implementation of our customer FTTH fiber optic deployment in Ibadan, Nigeria.
    • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire outside plant (OSP) infrastructure rollout, including planning, fiber pulling, ducting, splicing, and quality control.
    • The role demands leadership, hands-on technical knowledge, and strong coordination with local teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met with high quality and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead daily operations and execution of OSP deployment (civil works, ducting, cable laying, splicing).
    • Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to customer’s technical standards and deadlines.
    • Coordinate closely with design, NOC, and QA teams for smooth end-to-end deployment.
    • Track project KPIs (progress, costs, material usage) and report to management.
    • Manage materials, logistics, permits, and ensure resource availability on site.
    • Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance during execution.
    • Oversee documentation: redline drawings, test reports, OTDR results, and handover files.
    • Resolve field-level issues and escalate critical risks proactively.
    • Support recruitment, training, and performance tracking of field teams.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing large-scale OSP/FTTH projects, preferably in Nigeria.
    • Strong technical knowledge of GPON, FTTH, fiber pulling, ducting, and splicing standards.
    • Proven ability to manage field teams and subcontractors under tight deadlines.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian right-of-way regulations and local permitting processes.
    • Proficient in project tracking tools (Excel, MS Project, or equivalents).
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ibadan.
    • Support resolution of field-level challenges and community engagement when needed.
    • Verify as-built drawings and ensure proper marking of routes and installations.
    • Ensure subcontractors and teams adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
