    Operation Shift Supervisor

    Job summary/Role description

    • KOS executes the activities pertaining to the operation of an entire unit of the Plant.
    • KOS operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
    • KOS can operate in Petrochemical plant and has specific experience with the LyondellBasell Spheripol® process.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • KOS is responsible to maintain in operation under safe condition, and with a written instruction of COM, the plant/unit/equipment at the MCR or maximum efficiency point keeping the production or other detectable parameter at higher point. In case of trip or partial load, KOS shall supervise operations personnel to rectify any process upset or faults and restore production capacity;
    • To organize and manage the operations in field of the assigned team by controlling their job and the implementation of Plant Safety procedures in case of emergency;
    • To check that the safe conditions for maintenance teams are in place before issuing the Permit to Work;
    • KOS issues PTW (permits to work) and is responsible for the safety condition of the item being under maintenance applying the lockout procedure;
    • KOS must also apply all other safety procedures in compliance with Site Safety Plan;
    • With the change of the shift, the shift supervisor leaving the plant have to inform the coming shift supervisor about the plant condition and undergoing test or operations with written notice on the log book assuring the coming shift supervisor have a clear picture of the plant condition;
    • After the synchronization tests, he has to manage, if necessary, any communication with the local electrical grid coordinator;
    • KOS shall overlap his colleague at the start of his shift to familiarise himself with the events of the previous shift;
    • Checks the plant in each one of its systems and especially in its running equipment to identify possible troubles;
    • Checks alarms and blocks on DCS alarm page;
    • Organizes normal assistance to the maintenance team during their job;
    • Reports his colleagues about any problems arose during his shift. (Any problems must be written in the control room logbook);
    • Is responsible for filling in the control room log book with all remarks needed about operation, maintenance, trip and incident occurred during the shift.

    Knowledge & Qualifications

    • Diploma or a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent

    Experience

    • Required minimum 5 years’ experience in: High Density Polyethylene Plant,
    • Desirable Experience in: Lyondell-Basell licensed technology named Hostalen Advance Cascade Process (HACP®)

    Skills and Abilities

    • Fluent English;
    • Excellent IT and analytical skills;
    • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
    • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution;
    • Attention to detail, strong communications and interpersonal skills.

    Control Room Operator

    Job summary/Role description

    • KOB executes the activities pertaining to their discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
    • KOB shall have significant experience in the operation of Coal-fired thermal power plants.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Operating in field, under the instruction of the Operations Shift Supervisor (KOS), KOB is responsible for maintaining operation under safe condition the plant/unit/equipment at the MCR or maximum efficiency point keeping the production or other detectable parameter at higher point. In case of trip or partial load, KOF should identify and rectify any process upset or fault and restore production capacity;
    • During the commissioning of the systems: - he keeps records of all activities performed in the log book;
    • KOB shall liaise with his colleague at the start of his shift to familiarise himself with the events of the previous shift
    • Read carefully the written handovers in the Control Room logbook;
    • Apply lockout and other safety procedures for equipment under maintenance;
    • KOB follows Shift Supervisor instructions for operation of the plant
    • KOB supervises and instructs shift KOF

    Knowledge & Qualifications

    • Diploma or a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent

    Experience

    • 5-10 Years’ experience in Commissioning / Start-up / Operation of Polyethylene Plants
    • Required minimum 5 years’ experience in: High Density Polyethylene Plant,
    • Desirable Experience in: Lyondell-Basell licensed technology named Hostalen Advance Cascade Process (HACP®)

    Construction Site Planner

    Job summary/Role description

    • To execute all planning and reporting activities within a project (or part thereof) of any size and complexity under the supervision of the Project Control Manager. This role aligns with the project's contractual obligations, the company's quality standards, and the Project Execution Plan, including the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and schedules. The Site Planner is accountable for the accurate implementation and updating of the project schedule for the assigned area based on provided directives and requirements.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Prepare all field project planning activities in accordance with company procedures, guided by the Project Control Manager.
    • Collaborate closely with construction team to develop Level 3 and 4 schedules and manpower histograms, ensuring compliance with project milestones, critical interfaces, and control procedures.
    • Assess the feasibility of construction schedules based on the timely delivery of documentation, materials, and updated information from the Home Office.
    • Continuously monitor subcontractor performance regarding efficiency, progress, and resource allocation, highlight to Project Control Manager in case of schedule variance.
    • Establish and maintain a logical sequence of job activities, ensuring tasks are scheduled to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays, including identifying critical path activities and their dependencies.
    • Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report and publication to all the stakeholders.

    Management Information System (MIS) Reporting:

    • Prepare and distribute MIS reports at all levels, providing stakeholders with timely and accurate information on project status, performance metrics, and deviations from the planned schedule.
    • Utilize MIS tools to compile and analyse data, presenting findings clearly to support informed decision-making by project management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure that MIS reports reflect the current state of project schedules, resource allocation, and progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Provide feedback to the Project Control Manager regarding any issues or deviations from standard methods, work instructions, and tools to enhance departmental efficiency.
    • Stay updated on technical improvements within the discipline.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in necessary tools and software, including Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
