Our Client, a reputable firm in the Quick Service Restaurant Industry is recruiting for the role of Head of Finance,

• Lead and execute the implementation of financial reporting, revenue assurance (including internal audit and fraud), and financial integrity. 
• Business planning leadership and MIS implementation. 
• Ensure strategic objectives shaped at the executive management level are translated into business plans with financial reporting mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress, including: Assist preparation of annual company budgets and plans and monitoring performance against the approved budgets, Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, Implement performance management tools, and incentivisation mechanisms, including development plans, to provide guidance and feedback to the team, Implement cost-tracking tools, benchmarking, and KPIs 
• Ensuring that the Group meets the necessary tax, permit, and licensing requirements 
• Collaborating with other members of the executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of the company’s ledgers and broader financial reporting foundations and fraud prevention 
• Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures 
• Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and strategic input  
• Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives 
• Leading on annual audit, supervising and reviewing accounting practices, and providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support 
• Taking care of tax preparation duties or liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation 

Requirements 

• Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounting / Finance, Business Administration, Econmics, or numerical-related field. 
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience with 4 years of professional management experience in Finance and accounting in a QSR.  
• MBA or MSc. in Finance, Accounting, or any related discipline is an added advantage. 
• Professional membership of ICAN is an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in audit is required.
• A good knowledge of creating effective and cost-efficient financial practices and procedures will be required for this position.
• Excellent Computer/ERP application ○ Ability to appraise and use IT packages and electronic communication methods.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• An analytic mind and good numeracy skills.
• Good documentary and inventory skills
• Analysis and reporting.
• An organized and thorough approach to work
• Good knowledge of the IFRS process and procedure
• Good knowledge of SAGE software.

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for conducting scheduled seminars and training sessions for both individuals and organizations.  
• Develop course curricula to achieve learning objectives and encourage active participation. 
• Conducts training sessions covering a broad range of cybersecurity topics, including but not limited to Network Security, Application Security (Web, Mobile, API), Cloud Security, and Security Operations Centre Incident Management.  
• Design practical, hands-on exercises and assessments to enhance learning outcomes. Deliver training through various mediums such as programs, webinars, and workshops, tailored to both group and individual needs. 
• Maintain accurate training records and evaluation metrics.  
• Prepare students for successful careers in cybersecurity through comprehensive training and mentorship.  
• Stay updated on the latest security best practices, threats, and technologies.  
• Travel to deliver training at different locations as required. 

Requirements 

• A minimum of BSc/ HND in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. 
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical specialist/trainer
• Proven track record as a technical process trainer in Cyber Security domains.  
• Hands-on experience delivering security testing and ethical hacking modules, including Penetration Testing, etc.  
• Proficient in conducting cyber security assessments, vulnerability testing, and exploitation engagements.  
• Possess expertise in facilitating seminars and workshops on these topics.  
• Demonstrates exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. 
• Familiarity with modern training techniques and tools.  
• Innovative thinker with the ability to devise creative solutions. 
• Proficient in delivering technical training in various aspects of Cyber Security, including Cyber Security Governance, Network Security, Application Security (Web, Mobile, API), Cloud Security, and Security Operations Centre Incident Management.  
• Any Cyber Security-related certifications are advantageous
