Overview

• An Office 365 Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Office 365 suite of tools used by an organization. They work closely with IT departments to set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access to data housed within the cloud-based Office 365 platform. They are also responsible for ensuring that all Office 365 applications are running smoothly and that data is backed up regularly. In addition, they troubleshoot any issues related to Office 365 applications, and ensure that security protocols are in place to protect sensitive data. A strong understanding of the user experience is required, as the Office 365 Administrator must ensure that the tools provided to employees are accessible and easy to use. • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Infrastructure and Server Administrator to maintain and support our company’s server environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade server systems.
• Ensure servers are secure, optimized, and running efficiently.
• Perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

• Perform network design and capacity planning.
• Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
• Install and maintain network servers and network operating systems.

Experience

• Minimum of five years’ experience working as a Networking engineer
• Associates degree in computer science, or related field (B.S. preferred).
• 2+ years of Microsoft Azure support experience.
• 2+ years of Cisco/Meraki experience.
• Operational knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and application virtualization; Network and routing protocols; Windows Server and Azure Active Directory; Switch configuration and programming.
• Intermediate PowerShell experience.
• Ability to independently install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
• Familiarity with a variety of networking and personal computer software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment.
• Ability to communicate information to end users, colleagues, and senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
